God bless Mr Asante. He gave me my first job when I started in healthcare at Beth Israel Medical Center. He saw me once and knowing that I went to Mfantsipim he liked and believed in me. On his advice I also completed my MBA and now in healthcare management as well.
Good job, Ben. From the day I interviewed you, I knew you had the potential for upward growth.
I am happy to hear that Mr. Asante gave you the opportunity to start your career in healthcare at Beth Israel Medical Center.
Mr. Asante, I would like to connect with via email if you don’t mind sharing your email address with me.
I hope to hear from you soon. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Wow!
@@easante85hello sir please I need advice and guidance can you please leave your email
Hello bro i want to go to healthcare as well please can you leave your email for some advice and guidance
This is definitely one of my favorite interview! Blackman is capable of managing his own affairs, let support our own Ghanaians
Your comment has nothing to do with this man
Black nanos capable of managing his own destiny is being referred to a whole nations living in a failed countries in Africa or third world countries
Dear Ghanaians abroad. Please support Ghanaian businesses
Ed is such a wonderful, kind and inspirational person who will always guide you through your journey. Upon graduation as a new Technologist from Radiology, he gave me my first job in 1990 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital in NY. He was my special advisor and everyone in the Radiology Dept. loved him. He used his supervisory skills to make the Department one of the best in NYC. Congratulations on your new establishment and wish you long life and many success.❤❤
James, thank you for your invaluable contributions and for being part of my journey at Columbia Presbyterian hospital. Your legacy at the radiology department will not be forgotten.
Great man, he’s really lived a fulfilled life. Whatever one sets his mind on, he can accomplish no matter where he finds himself. I’ve enjoyed this interview
DJ Nyame this is one of the best interviews keep it up
Kudos to Mr. Asante, definitely a great man to emulate. I'm glad he mentioned stocks and investment. That's an option lot of Ghanaians abroad fail to look at. Myself I'm a foreign MD in the US and I've been into stocks for sometime as well. On the idea of setting up radiology centers, I am all for that. I hope we can share some ideas at any possible time. It would be nice to connect, Sir. Kudos👍🎉
Best interview… we need great men with great mindset, leadership and personality like this! Kudos sir 🫡
These kinda people ever put camera on them to insult Ghana. They don’t talk rubbish.Only the foolish poor people in America put cameras on them insulting Ghana and the leaders talking too much
Maybe “these” people have also made it abroad so much so that, they don’t care what goes on in Ghana!
Ed, more grease to your elbows😊 Kudos. I have been in the same shoe. I left working for the “people” (corporate world as a software engineer) since 2007. Now retired but working on my own since then. I am in Texas but hope to visit your restaurant when I am in your neck of the wood. I used to live in Massachusetts & familiar with the area. We have to develop the mindset to be our own boss. It’s not easy but achievable. I always turn down jobs if the price is not right. ❤✌🏿
Well said. Thank you
@@easante85hello sir pls my name’s Prince I will like to seek some knowledge and strategy from you sir pls incase there’s anyway I can contact you pls kindly help me sir 👏👏👏
He is so humble with all his achievements. I went there around last year. I am in PA but drove all the way there to try the food and support with my family. I still have pictures. Well done Mr Asante👏👏👏👏
Congrats sir for making Ghana proud over there. 🎉
Nice to hear Ghanaian progress very well, this is wake up call for a lot of people
This is one of the best interview Dj Nyaame. Thank you Mr Asante.....Owuusunyaame Von Stuttgart
Top notch interview with this experienced man ❤
DJ, what he meant by tele-radiology was that even today after MRI's are done at *Quest Medical Imaging* - East Legon, they sometimes send the digital images to South Africa for further interpretation after the Ghanaian radiologist does a review. i.e. in the cases where the interpretation is not clear.
The diagnostic imaging centres are in Ghana now and are improving care due to the availability of modern CT, MRI scanners today. This is allowing neurology to have more experience in Ghana today.
The next one that Ghana has to get is the PET scanner.
Spot on!!
Rawlings came after all rich business men in his era example J.K Siaw
True paaa, especially the Akans. But if you say aa, problem. Lol
Massive massive interview by all standards ❤
Great interview. Thanks, Dr. for sharing your experience
Thank you
Good job uncle we are proud of you
Fellow Kwabotwe (Mfantsipim School) mate
Wow I needed this. I’m motivated even more. ❤
Kwabotwe to the world
The best interview ever on this show …His knowledge will help us the young ones living in America now
That's awesome 👌 Job well done ❤
When generational blessing is your lineage u will be as successful...
What u marry and the lineage of your parents is a BIG determinant of one's life journey or destiny
Agree 100%. Mine started from my grandmother (on my mother’s side). My grandmother was an “illiterate” (I hate to use that word) aka did not read or write in any language. Yet she singly handed a legacy of 5 buildings be4 passed away in the early 70s. What did she do? She sold beads (Ahweneɛ) at Kumasi Central market & invested in properties (buildings). We all, generations after her are beneficiaries. I hope to do my part too.
Eiii so JJ Rawlings too chase many people oo.
I tell you. But if you say it aa, they will come for you but it's the truth.
I am so proud of this man Mr Asante,40 years with experience and can do spirit in the states.
Yes,that is a proud Ghanaian, doing his best with the opportunity he had and still can speak the local language after a long years .
Such a resilient, dedicated and a well planned person to learn from always, kudos Daddy.
Dj NYAAMI thanks for this great interview 🎉🎉
Great interview....that you DJ Nyame for bringing such an accomplished person to share his experience....very inspiring indeed
Thanks for sharing your experience senior. I like your demeanor and not feel entitled that Ghanaians must patronize your business because you are a Ghanaian. I like the fact that your focus is creating good value for your customers. Being highly educated, successful in corporate America and a successful entrepreneur is amazing.
Another great interview 😊
In fact, the US is the land of opportunity, you could deduce from most of the interviews done by DJ Nyami.
Don't be deceived
Woo this great, very successful man
DJ some of the Ghanaian sellers want to make profit overnight. The same products are sold at affordable prices by the Asian people. We're talking about hard earned currency here...
It could even be the same price and Ghanaians will go to another store. I personally don’t go because of the gossip and not the prices.
DJ, folks in the UK can avail themselves of tax-free accounts for the stock market.
None of your interviews from the UK has touched on it, they have the same investment options available to them as the US folks but....
The Canadians use a TFSA to invest in the stock market.
He went into TESLA when it was $12, just take a look at the growth of that stock over time and there have been 2 stock splits over time.
Thank you Dr Asante. You have done well for yourself and for others❤
Very informative and educational program.
Indeed, abroad is for hustlers. It is through hustling that people gain skills from experience and competencies. That is what most graduates in Ghana fail to do. They fail to do internship and voluntary works. Always looking for money first.
Wow, i am impressed with this educative interview. Great interview. Kudos Mr Asante
Brilliant mind you brought on the show today Nyame. He really lived the American dream!
God bless America 🙌🏿
Very interesting interview 👍 🎉❤
Such a great story
Wowww very impressive life story 👏👏. Best interview ever
In the 70's and 80's, we had Dangote's caliber of richmen in Ghana but military uprising caused their exile with some having their businesses collapsed and assets confiscated!
Is sad
Mr Edward Asante is an amazing man who loves all. He has supported myself and many others and for this we will forever be grateful to this Great Ghanaian Man. Kindly patronize Asante’s restaurant and Ed’s Market whenever you are in Teaneck,New Jersey 🇬🇭🌍🫶🏾
Thank you
Yea he seems like a great man
Nice interview
I salute you Sir
If it’s 1983 then he’s 40yrs plus in the USA
❤wow great work 👏 👍 👌 💪 ❤.
Great man!
1958 not today miss Ghana
❤
This guys kwahus,Adjagba, boakye mattress and co would have been like dangote if not for Rawlings….that man is Ghanas problems….thanx daddy stock market is good too

Ayekoooo
A true leader
This man is just smart lol
Nice One 👍✌️🖐️
Dollar cost average
First hereeeeee🎉😅
I'm in Italy would love to work in his restaurant.
America🦅
Need idea.🎉
Ed didn't do his homework well when it comes to the Jewish population you must be very strategic opening up a kosher bagel store which caters to the Jewish population he should have hired Jewish workers in addition to Black workers many Jewish consumers are very particular about Kosher foods and tend to think that other nationalities are not as verse when it comes to their culture as far as it pertains to Kosher foods
Homework was well done. A rabbi was the manager, and one Jewish person was at the front end.
@@easante85 sir either the staff sabotage u or the area was not frequented by that population....living in NYC i am.very familiar with that population and how they are regarding their interactions with us gentiles as we are referred to
❤
We are coming to eat .....NJ get ready
😎😎😎😎
DJ let him come and talk about investing. There more that his guy can tell . Just start and better than anything you can imagine.
Nigeria kraa go Nigeria man shop
Where’s his restaurant address? Asante restaurant in New Jersey. Lemme google
1280 Teaneck road Teaneck NJ 07601
This comment is like my daughter case she was in bed when a car went out of control and knocked all her three cars 🚗 which was packed on her own car park
It's very difficult for a black man in this world ... both home and away
Yeah man. Its true. And some whites think its nothing bad to discrminate. If you fight them back they say you are aggresive
White mans world.
Yes that’s why we have to move smart like this great man
Asante Restaurant - 1280 Teaneck Rd, Teaneck NJ
The evil Rawlings. He chased all the rich people from Ghana. Ghanaians started suffering heavily hence the movement to Alata then Nigeria must Go followed
Don't pretend like all the businessmen were innocent. Some were innocent, but a whole bunch were wicked and selfish like we are all witnessing in Ghana today. America wouldn't have been this great if politicians and businessmen were allowed to reap the system. Not saying Rawlings was a Saint but Gh at the time was not heaven either.
Great interview. On the issue of if his wife was a Ghanaian, the marriage would have collapsed. I don’t entirely agree.
You know, kudos to this man himself. Some men get money and start to think one woman is not enough for them. This man became focused and his wife never had to worry that her husband might be living immorally etc. He built this ‘wealthy empire’ with his wife and they have supported each other. That’s how it should be. So I will applaud him for being a level headed man. And applaud his wife for holding on well to such a man. They are both amazing.❤
But that is the bitter truth, if he had married a typical Ghanaian or West African in general, he wouldn't have gotten this far, you and I know the reasons, so stop gaslighting.
They would’ve been divorced. That’s the fact. On the point of another man would’ve sought a second woman after the success, another woman would’ve also divorced for half of the man’s fortune.
@@tomofosu4081 you and I also know a typical Ghanaian man getting money and treating his wife like trash. I still maintain that they are both amazing and to each other.
@@xl576 at least you said my thought. Which one comes after the other is my point.
@sandras-asante8252 what percentage compared to women, the young Ghanaian men abroad have seen the truth that is why they are more into foreigners, most Ghanaian women think about personal properties by thinking their men will always die before them. See the way the Haitian woman accommodated his workers and drived almost 1 hour at odd hour to provide support ?
❤
