Great Comet of 1812 rough storyboards

I simply can’t sacrifice the rest of my life for animating the whole goddamn show (although I’d love to) so here are some super quick and messy storyboards of the scenes I see most clear in my head. I might do part 2 at some point if I come up with more and even make a real finished animatic from some of these in the future but that completly depends on my motivation and time so don’t get too excited. This is just the way to get these ideas out of my system!

Whenever I've pictured Sonya and Natasha in my head, I've focused on Natasha during the "Leave me alone" line and focusing the "camera" on Sonya has made the song 10x more heartbreaking and I personally thank you

This is incredible, I love the original spin that you put on things, like the concept of Natasha seeing herself with Anatole in the third person is ingenious! Especially since people referring to themselves in the third person is such a recurrent thing in the musical. Ugh, it's just so good
