We hope that you are having an Awesome vacation!!
Being involved in Internet Orthodoxy in my early Orthodox years and learning about the toll houses sent me into 3 years of spiritual hell where I struggled to stay in the church. I learned that the toll houses don't matter either way. If I live a good and satisfactory Christian Life and participate in the church life then my chances are pretty good whether the toll houses are real or not. And I no longer participate in any online orthodox forums.
Oh another question... Is it wrong to tell someone not to fast?... reason being I find my mom gets weak while fasting as well after fast.
I know it's part of our faith and traditional way of life...and no way I want her to feel any disconnection to our Greek Orthodox faith, but I want her healthy.
Apologies if you answered this before... But is it wrong to enter a church/sanctuary/temple/mosque to witness a wedding or funeral....as well just to pray to God?
