that match was brutal. idk if angle hit him with that bell too square or what, but you could hear it hit jeffs head. I wonder if he even bladed there tbh
Back in 2009 i was a senior in highschool. Wow im now 33 and just getting around to watching this era of TNA. i will say as a professional wrestling fan that i missed a great promotion when this was "recent"
Attended with my daughters, found our ticket stubs last night. Crazy rewatching I really don't remember much of it. Ironically indie wrestler Caleb Conley was sitting next to us.
1:26:30 And MANY other times on the show. Way to have Jim Cornette tower over your stars. We know Kurt Angle is actually 5'10"ish, but shoot it in a way where it doesn't come across as if Cornette is towering over him.
Wrestling logic: 1. It's not okay for Wrestlers to attack Referees, but if they do really who cares. 2. It's okay okay for Referees to attack Wrestlers, but if they do they're fired. 3. All jobs within the industry, no matter what it is, can be solved by a wrestling match - regardless if you're a wrestler.
This Grudge match between Kurt Angle & Jeff Jarrett was pure legendary

Great days of TNA
The first TNA show I ever saw.
I was completely won over by the end of Shelley v. Sabin.
That Angle vs Jarrett match didn’t deserve to end like that. A match like that should have a definitive ending. A quick reversal is a disservice.
Waiting all day. Yes rip Jimmy Rave. Never forget your hilarious ready to party promo.
Jarrett-Angle match was awesome. Hard to believe nobody had a life-threatening injury.
the first and only TNA event I was able to attend live
The War between Kurt Angle and Jeff Jarrett really got my attention especially with Jeff's defiance to keep going against Kurt in A NO DQ war.
R I p jimmy rave

Sabin Vs Shelley! One of the best matches I’ve ever seen
What an awesome show. TNA was gold.
Watching this after listening to My World Podcast episode about Genesis 09.
2009 was TNAs best year imo
Wow hard to believe this was 15 years ago I remember it like it was yesterday RIP Don West you and Mike Tenay made my childhood great
This is awesome 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏
I liked TNA more than WWE in this era. Tuned out a few years after
Referee slick Johnson 😆 🤣 😂
Watching this in 2022 and RIP Jimmy Rave
I forgot about Booker’s accent phase. Pro wrestling at its best

AJ Styles was the best thing in TNA Wrestling
Awesome Kong 🔥🔥🔥
Eric Young 🌱 & LAX 🇲🇽 had to be one of the best odd pairings ever in TNA.

So what if Kurt Angle 🇺🇸 is 5' 10 he gave heavier wrestlers like Hulk Hogan, Brock 🧱 Lesnar & others some of their toughest matches.
@@tonyarceneaux286 That wasn't at all my point dum-dum. It was a production and filming critique.

Except when he was TNA World 🌎 champion 🏆 or when he was with ODB, Eric Young 🌱 was more comfortable being in factions.
