In this video I go so far out of my comfort zone with Resin that I think it might be my new comfort zone.

So many firsts for me with this video .. I am trying Vista's brand new top coating resin called COATY. It was a dream ..
I am also using brand new floating metallic pigment powders from Just 4 you online. They are absolutely incredible.
Coaty review: My experince with this resin was a dream. (Not sponsored)
It has so much flow it moved around beautifully and at no point did it burn or dry out with excessive heat gun use. Of course you do not want to hold the heat gun in one spot with any resin but this resin coped well.
The resin was dry to the touch after several hours and the following morning perfectly cured for a top coat.
Pigment powders: These blew my mind ! I have always struggled with metallic pigments getting lost or muddying the resin and these just kept on floating. Exactly what it said on the pot. They were fully worth the investment as a little goes a very long way.

I love them! I keep wanting to make a clock but procrastination is my first and middle names. I haven't done much with resin since it got cold cause I can't open the windows. I've been doing acrylic pouring lately. But I miss my resin. Haha! When you said, "The only rule is they have to work. Does mine work? Of course not!" That's completely me. 😂 These are beautiful!!!

They are both gorgeous😍😍. I wouldn't have known they were first attempts, they turned out so well😀. I have the just4you floating pigments, love them. Have used them in coasters mostly, but think I should try some clocks now! Also, try the Cuba resin, too.

I loveeeee it. There is no right or wrong look when it comes to resin. Am definitely going to get the resin. I have the vista lake but not used yet. And I also have all those pigments.

W2g Claire, it's good to see you "letting go" (not that you need too much encouragement!!) To do that takes some guts when what you're making & using is all new to you, it looks stunning and those floating metallics are gawjus!! I'm about to open my larger containers of Vista resin, do you measure straight from the containers? I struggle with my hands and am wondering whether I should get some smaller bottles to decant in to as I'm not sure I'd be able to hold the weight whilst measuring out but I'm unsure as to which type to use 🤔 Anyways, well done on another great project 💖

The resin can be reused ... I have sheets of Resin spill off that I am sending to a fellow You Tuber lol they make smaller pieces quite often xx
