Hayoung's way of singing feels like she sings from her heart, it sounds pure in a way.
While Gyuri make a song sadder. Her "Butterfly Effect- by Rothy" cover is amazing.
Hayoung hitting the high notes gives me goosebumps. Angelic voice.

Hayoung has my favorite voice in the group. There’s something nostalgic and emotional about the way she sings. I like that she can hit lower notes and high ones. Her voice is one of the main reasons she’s one of my ults.
My favorite voice’s is hayoung saerom and seoyeon. Especially seoyeon because of the deepness

Can’t pick a favourite voice lol. I will say that I love all 3 voices of the 00 line equally - from Seoyeon and Chaeyoung’s huskier and slightly deeper voices, to Nagyung’s clear vocals and her relaxed tone.
Aaaah... I seriously got addicted to this song when I watched their 2 encore stages for DM...and they were raw and live live... TT TT ...it was so good!
In a group with Jiwon, Hayoung, Seoyeon and Gyuri she probably ranks 5th or 6th along with Chaeyoung in vocals but I'm fascinated by Nagyung's tone and growth. She has gotten so so much better and has clearly put in work to do so and her "over and over" highlight in the song Airplane Mode wows me.

For long time Flovers, Chaeyoung is the girl who consistently brings out the best in other members, she is in many ways the heart of the group. Hilarious, but ultra caring. If someone is new to the group and wants to get to know them, if you recommend Vlives with Chaeyoung + X it's always a good time.
It started with episode 1 of Idol School and continues to this day, without Chaeyoung, Fromis is so different!
I would agree Nakko probably ranks 5th in vocals, shes borderline in the vocal line maybe.. the vocal line is too stronk, she even has an unreleased song, hope she releases it soon

i love seeing you fall so deeply in love with fromis_9. They are my ult group, and I got into them around the same time I started watching your videos. Hearing that Chaeyoung is nearly Sana level almost made me choke on my food 😅 that's a big deal! can't wait for more fromis_9 content and welcome to being a flover 🍀
They are just simply LOVEABLE DORKS! They are sweet, pretty, talented, funny and just all around wonderful!
Hayoung's voice is definitely my style. I'm not sure if you've seen her covers on TH-cam or when she was on the masked singer and sang IU's song "Dear Name" but they're amazing. She's one of my favorite singers in kpop.
Saerom's vocal tone, my bias
So Jiwon is my bias (her voice, both speaking and singing, got me). I'm seriously glad she didn't get relegated to ONLY high note duty because I love me some vocal lines within groups (I tend to think TaeSica, Luna and Krystal, Wendy/Seulgi, Solar/Wheein/Hwasa). That said, I feel that she hasn't had much space to shine recently, so I'm happy about this stage. While Hayoung is as expected amazing, Jiwon feels more comfortable here and sounds possibly even better than usual.
Edit: I'm also glad they did a more mature sound now, instead of right after debut. Their voices and singing style just wouldnt have fit back then.
Chaeyoung is worthy of being an ult bias, she's an amazing young woman.
personally i can't choose a favorite voices cause i enjoy everyone's voices in different songs but during this era my favorites are probably hayoung, jiwon (i promise it isnt because they are my biases...) alongside saerom and nagyung i just love how nice and soft their voices are this comeback.
Living for the Fromis 9 content. Like you, I’ve always enjoyed them, but this comeback hit different. Guaranteed this song will be in my top 10 by the end of the year
One thing to note from the backing band for this performance is they actually tone down the instrumentation. Especially the bass and electric guitar. In the original version, the bass is very dominant and drive the melodies, it is "busy" , with slap techniques and playing many chord progression.
They actually make way for the vocals to shine more. Not mentioning the mixing for live setting, it is really complimenting 9 vocals.
I think Pledis request it on purpose. For good reason. Fromis_9 live vocals in now a highlight.

first just wanna say im so happy you're diving into fromis_9, they're my ult gg since 2018 and i just can't help but feel happy and laugh alot watching them.
also to answer your question~ gyuri's tone is my absolute favorite!! it is just soo nice to hear and I love her voice in escape room so much its perfect for that genre of songs, not to mention that genre is in fact one of favorite genres in kpop music.
u can watch it on your own time but i just wanna recommend jiwons cover of "12:45" on weekly idol. its like a 3 minute cover but its absolutely beautiful

To choose who your favourite vocal is, I cannot do that. Not because I dont want to, but each one of them have a special and amazing tone/vocal. So if I had to choose I would say all of them.

Idk if I commented the first time I watched this but since I'm on a binge Kaia fromis reactions, imma comment again. My fav vocal tone is def gyuris. Which is maybe why I was so in deep despair over gyuris departure. I loved gyuri in pd48 before I fell for fromis, so she's special to me in a lot of ways. She has such a husky and special voice. I don't generally hear that kinda vocal tone in K-pop. Same with seoyeon but I prefer gyuris. While seoyeon is the stronger husky voice, gyuris is softer husky. I love it. And second fav vocal tone is ofc chaeng. I know she's just a sub vocalist but her TONE is what I love. They all have such different tones that it's honestly just preference. They all blow me away with their vocals but vocal tone def gyuri and chaeng. They were also both my biases. Voice and vocals are very important to me. But so is dance and stage presence. Which is why Taemin is STILL my ult to this day after 14 years. Idol with insane talents+personality+insane dancer. Like I really stanned a lot of groups since 2008 but there is only a handful of groups who are just pouring talent and personality out of them. And as you mentioned in your reaction to chaeng crying in their channel 9, BOND Is very important to me as well. If I love a groups songs and dig into them more and see they seem to be awkward or the bond seems off, I stick to just listening to their songs. Fromis was the first group in YEARS that I wanted to fully dive in and see EVERYTHING. and it's your fault honestly LMAO. I watched your DM reaction before I even watched the actual mv. I loved talk and talk so I was scared to watch their new release for like weeks but I wanted to check it out with a reactor and it was your channel that I bumped into and watched the MV with you and fell for chaeng with you. So me being a Chaeng and fromis ult is solely your fault LMAO. I even downloaded patreon for the first time to sub and watch your fromis content there. Long story short, I love them all. The fact their RAPPERS and DANCERS are insane at singing live and have such strong vocals is just unreal honestly. I wish I got into them sooner but that's fine Atleast I found your channel at the beginning of my fromis journey. I don't want to come off as weird when I comment on all your fromis contents and videos so I comment just on some like here. not hate to fromis_9 (they actually my ult group) but that channel (MDR MUSIC LIVE) actually is not live, they have a lot of autotune and backtrack :/ they can sing, but don't put your expectations to high, that show makes artist sounds like robot instead of humans
