Hannes Kerschbaumer - neodym for crotales and resonating surfaces (2021)

The piece uses subtle electronic sounds which are transmitted via transducers to resonating surfaces. In this recording we used two snare drums with their snares. In other performance contexts other surfaces were used, eg baroque timpani with necklaces to ensure the distortion sound.
The recording was made in Franzensfeste Museum (Italy) in August 2022 as part of a series of solo pieces written for percussionist Philipp Lamprecht.
