What were you comparing in the video between each of the thermometers? Was it the app? Was it the temprature accuracy? Why was Inkbird in 2nd? If it's the usability of the app I get it, but if it's accuracy... it was like 10 degrees off from the other two. Thank you for making the video, but you didnt really answer anything as far as what you meant by the title of comparing all three.
I gave "Meater" the best device for it's app usability and the accuracy for the meat sensing is good. however, the ambient temp seems to be very slow getting to temp, and needs and actual battery replaced when it goes dead. I gave "InkBird" 2nd place because the app is also nice, but does't have an overall "time cook" like Meater does. The temp reading adjustment can be a pain with trying to figure out what is actually an accurate temp. I gave "TempSpike 3rd because I'm not a fan of the app at all. The only real perk to this device is it can stay connected to your phone for a long distance without disconnecting. As far as temp readings for the TempSpike, I would say that it does the job and is accurate. Thanks for watching the video. I hope this helps.
@@Cloppa2000 The ink bird is the only one that has a form of calibration. You would still need another temp to compare it to. It's just a plus or minus to adjust the temp.
Update: Meater just released a firmware update, and the ambient temperature now reads below 70 degrees F.
