If I remember correctly this concept of predictive accounting is already present in Costing based copa where we are able to transfer open sales order /deliveries to COPA and in MA this is just an extended or enhanced version, I worked on these concepts long back and now trying to refresh my learnings. BTW your videos are good.

additional information from Janet Salomon product owner management accounting in SAP confirmed that UPA is based on MA and Combined COPA/Costing based will be sunset in future.
