@@GeekLevelAsian yeah I noticed aswell and the sounds don't make any sense and yeah I noticed the Fact that the key does not Filp and I don't get the purpose of Hasbro just putting in Random sound that are not even in the show.
I just bought the Japanese version of this morpher for my son. Thank you for the review, I found it very helpful. It seems the Japanese versions are better than the American ones, for example the Dino buckler vs the legacy morpher. Keep making videos my friend.
I agree, these I both kind of similar comparison the morpher. But I like the power rangers morpher Japan version. I going to used a prop for we going to film for our first sitcom of power rangers, power rangers super legends the legend of five.
I think the Ryusoul charger is better for cosplay tbh. I hope for whatever next power rangers season comes out they use whatever activates the morpher on the tv show
Great video. I love the dino fury morpher design itself it looks pretty show accurate and decent and I think hasbro did a good job with that. But the keys are just horrible, If they flipped I wouldn't even mind as much. I have both versions like yourself and I agree Japanese keys are far superior. I said those exact same things in my review of the dino fury morpher on my channel. 👍🏻
Nice! Yeah I think the downsides of the Hasbro version are the key and the sounds. The sounds just..make no sense lol. If they were the sounds and song from the show I would have liked it like 25% more.
I like both but I only have the hasbro one and I'm having so much fun with it. I wish there were more to the morpher. But all in all its a awesome morpher
PR morphers have never been accurate (its understandable since... like only three of them make actual noises in the show and they don't wanna sell just hunks of plastic). People give BoA sh*t but at least they got the gimmicks mostly accurate-
Since the US morpher is clearly marketed for kids and not adult collectors, I'll judge this on how my kid self would: That brat wouldn't want this - he'd be happy with it as a Birthday gift but this wouldn't be something I'm nagging the grownups for. Like you said, the non-flipping key is what instantly breaks it for me. I can understand a more screen accurate morpher would mean a higher price point, but the flat sticker is nice for a Burger King toy.
@@txmqalfpdiq Man, just because a sticker has more detail doesn’t mean it’s not cheap. You literally can get an entire sheet of detailed stickers for only a dollar or two. Also, I wouldn’t say the flipping is pointless. It’s better for a small collectible to have some form of function other then being just used to activate another toy.
@@txmqalfpdiq But you’re forgetting that it’s targeted to kids who watch the show. You’re able to turn the globes around the align the constellation drawings. I’m sorry, man, but that was poor example.
I don't know who on the Hasbro marketing team decided that kids don't like dedicated play patterns and will just settle for random sound effects that are motion activated. If you want to give them that feel of "becoming" the Ranger, it should be a process with steps instead of barely noticeable sound changes between random voicelines. It was the same way with the other Dino Fury morphers and the Beast Morpher ones too. Sentai and Rider have had this down for a long while now, and its strange that Hasbro isn't taking notes.
8:29 Yeah the big kicker I see this is in comparing kyoryuger vs Dino Charge in that for the changers it always played the samba music of the change which gave life to it with the upbeat music, even for the power up item even had different a lot going for it with it identifying different combinations and playing the music.

I was so excited for this show as my son is finally at an age to enjoy power rangers. I bought the hasbro for him and he seemed to like it but I’m so disappointed with the hasbro morpher. The spin sucks, no real music for the change, and every time you “morph” you don’t know if you’re doing it right because the toy doesn’t make any sounds to help you out. Definitely have to go get the Japan version, just like Dino charge. The American versions don’t seem quality to me anymore. Japan might be more but you get what you pay for.
Yeah the sounds reaaaally don't make sense to me. It's like you do the morph, some random song plays...forever lol. I really wanted the Morph sequence song that would have been awesome.
@@GeekLevelAsian If the song made sense that would have helped its case a little. The toy itself is not awful but the keys should be changed. As a kid I would have wondered why my morpher dis not look like the one on the shows. Just like the dino chargers, my sons know that the small ones are not as good, and prefer the Braves. Hasbro clearly didn't learn from the horrid Bandai America missteps that were things like the Legendary & Silver Morphers of Super Megaforce, or the Cell Shift, Rev, & Skyshift Morphers of RPM. Despite that, rumor has it that the zords will have proper Dino Power Keys or wtfever they're calling the Ryuusouls. Even the Beast-X Morpher didn't screw that up (though they didn't do a proper Striker Morpher OR Beast-X Mode Visor)... Sure, the Pteracharge Morpher sucks, and the Titanocharge Morpher has the exact same sounds as the regular Dinocharge Morpher with nothin' to differentiate it *as* Silver's, but that's all moot when compared to Kyouryuuger...and they're pretty good.
I'll admit, when I saw the dino fury morpher online and was like "ooh so the english version of the Ryusoul key's will flip down like the Japanese version" sad to say I'm very disappointed with the english version
