"I didn't know you could sleep in a bed, Kelsey. That is Human Life 101, so..." This might be the funniest and most relatable thing in the history of MinnMax.
I think most people are missing the point about Zelda's character through out the series. Zelda never was really helpless Princess. In almost every game Link and Zelda have to work together to beat whatever the evil is. Both of them are not strong enough alone to beat big baddie in some way at in past games. In ocarina of time she is a Shinobi of Sheikah tribe. In wind waker she is pirate captain. In twilight princess she is witch queen. In Skyward Sword she has her own adventure in background while Link has his own adventure. In botw Ganon and Zelda locked each other and Link had to come and break the tie. In totk she had her own adventure in past. Zelda is different from Peach.
As someone who missed the more traditional style of Zelda, I've been loving this game so far. The overworld is more compact but is filled with interesting locations and secrets, the presentation is very charming, and the echoes system is pretty fun to use. I agree that the dungeons are the perfect length, and I'm glad each one has its own style. My only complaint is that the early game combat wasn't very fun, but once I upgraded the sword that has been less of an issue. This is unrelated to Echoes of Wisdom, but I think Tatl from Majora's Mask deserves to be mentioned as one of the best Zelda companions. After Midna she is my favorite, although I really like Tri so far.
I use smoothies to make big $$$ I got all the accessory slots super early, and bought all the accessories. Smoothies are 10 to make but like 25 to 50 to sell.
Curious how this Zelda will be remembered over time. I really liked it initially, but I fell off pretty hard. For me, everything is a little too easy. I don’t like the combat system (the ai is just too slow and dumb, so I’m constantly watching them miss over and over). The world is very populated, but most NPC’s just have a single line…. This game has some of the greatest potential, but never quite commits to anything it does.
It was never supposed to matter. But interesting 'lore' has become an expectation for the gaming community, so people try to make every franchise timeline important. I think it comes from the trend with TH-camrs making easy popular videos compiling the lore and history of nerdy stuff. It's been so common for so long that it affected gaming culture. If a game has any lore, someone will make it content, and people will assume it's interesting and carefully crafted.
I thought the naming schemes were really dumb and I was blaming the Nintendo Translators in my head, but tbh I feel better about after hearing y'all say "yeah it's meant to be cute and stupid because they're toys." lol The writing is still very bland though, so who knows?
I'm a Wii enthusiast as much as the next guy but I found the backlash when Nintendo tried adding new avatars in Switch Sports very weird, like do y'all not want better avatars?

1000xResist is so good!
the ben/haley bits dynamic is so subtle but so solid and funny.
"I didn't know you could sleep in a bed, Kelsey. That is Human Life 101, so..." This might be the funniest and most relatable thing in the history of MinnMax.
1:18:55 Haley says "Only Fins" and not one person reacted to it.
I pointed it out but I think my comment got deleted :(
I don't think they heard her.

ZoraLover69 is my favourite of the new Zelda freaks

If I remember right, the zora become the rito in WW because they couldn't live in salt water.
53:44 Yea, after playing it some more, I agree with you and rescind any slander directed towards Impa.
Kelsey's right. Tri is cute. It makes cute noises and i like it's theme.
Last used is better, but you have have to + view notebook as you get one interesting to add it to recent used

Hey, new guy on this channel. Where can I see what game is coming up next for this podcast?
Hey, thanks for being a new guy. We don't have a roadmap, but we'll announce it when we have one locked down.
Hook IS the greatest film ever made.
Didnt know Kelsey was a Mets fan.. hell yeah, LFGM!!!!!
Bed-maxxers rise up
Whoa! First comment? Yay for this video!

Zelda timeline discussion is so annoying I agree with the panel. Doesn’t really matter.

It'll usher in a new era for Nintendo when the people that refuse to let go of these ugly Mii character designs finally retire

Why is Metacritic the lowest score in the list (except the 4/5s)? Did you just compile a list of the highest scores?
