Do you use Revere Ware cookware? Isn't it great?

Yes, it's great!.. and yes that cute little sauce pan is for melting butter. My 79 year old mother swears by Revere Ware cookware. She still has her set from the 1960's. Now RW is my favorite cookware too. I like cooking with Revere Ware because it just seems to overall heat better and I think my food tastes better also. And the clean up isn't too bad.. if I have any burnt on food, I just soak it for a bit, clean it out a little by hand, then throw it in the dishwasher. Teflon pans only last a couple of years before the teflon starts flaking off and when that happens, your suppose to throw them out.. which is a waste of money and bad for the environment. What I love about RW.. is that it's sturdy and can last for decades. Every piece I find is worth the investment.

@@traceylee62 I couldn't agree more teflon is bad and most pots made today and very cheaply made!

Going to Rome,NY today they are lighting up the Old Revere ware sign for the Fourth of July. City is going to be crazy today. A lot of good memeories for people. My great grandfather retired from Revere. I deliver mail in Rome. So I luckily see the old place on my route everyday. Really cool piece of history! Highly recommend taking the trip.

I just finished finding my set of copper bottom cookware. I managed to thrift all 16 pieces. My mom got them for her wedding in 1965 and she still uses them. I found one of the measuring cups too at Goodwill. I love the cookware. If they still made it I would have bought it new. But glad i got the lot for around $50

Revere is pronounced so that the second syllable rhymes with "ear" as in Paul Revere. Paul RevEAR.

There is so much wrong with what you are saying. Firstly, is pronounced the same way that you would say Paul Revere. There's actually a cameo of him on the bottom of the pot. That is a cooking pot you may put it on the stove and heat it, that is what it's made for. I grew up with my parents cooking out of this set. You're acting like it is fragile and will break, unless it has some previous damage, it should be fine to cook with.
