Very interesting and thank you for the FLP. Sadly I don't have FL Studio nor Nexus, but I managed to convert the FLP to MIDI wit a special app. Now I can add instruments to the tracks in my own DAW (which will take a while ;-) ) and add your processing and automation. See where it will bring me.
@@poplab_audio In first instance I downloaded acapellas from youtube (acapella videos). My Ableton kept estimating the bpm of these tracks on 120, where it's clearly 110. After I found a way to convert your FLPs to midi, I hadn't noticed the vocal track was in there as well. Yours was OK immediately, but I had been struggling with the warping for some time, not getting the vocals in sync with the instruments. Apparently it's a skill of its own, and may vary over DAWs. I wondered whether you had it right from the start and ik not, how you did it.
I probably missed some details but feel free to ask if there is anything unclear :)

Did you have to do a lot of work to get the vocals steady on the beat? It seems the acapella's on YT don't fit nicely to a steady beat.
