Scriabin is really one of a kind, his next set of etudes is also incredible.
Я так рад, что вы есть на просторах Ютуба. Здорово видеть человека, поглощенного действительной музыкой. Благодарю за компанию!
А какая музыка - недействительная?
@@markodern789 Та, что не имеет в себе смысла, красоты и воли
Scriabin is absolutely one of my favorite composers. Him, Mozkowski, Bortkiewicz and Alkan do not get enough recognition they deserve. I relate to Scriabin a lot as well since I love spirituality and mystical stuff. Gets your third eye twitching for sure listening to Scriabin.
couldn't agree more!
Full recommend Sultanov's Op. 8 No. 12, its actually amazing!
this!!
Great to see Scriabin again!
My favourites are numbers 6, 11 and of course 12.
Good content
Number 12 is the best. "Poem of Ecstasy" - his major opus.
Love that you listened to these all the through man, spectacular pieces. He has so many more. Keep up your musical journey my man, love you videos and I'll keep coming back to her you out.
I was really glad that you enjoyed these etudes and commented them while listening! I agree with u - they just keep getting better and better to the end of the set.
My personal favourites are:
1. № 12
2. № 7
3. № 11/10/3
Nice to see Scriabin back on this channel after almost a year of silence :D
11:14 the score is missing a bass clef on the second to last chord. Its the same misprint in the henle transcription that I have
you should listen to Zhukov's recording of Scriabin Op 16, 5 Preludes. it was my introduction to Scriabin, and im currently working on this Op set. its absolutely gorgeous
I love scriabin
Nice opus by my favorite composer. Will wait op 11 reaction.
GIDI when we need wait streams?
can't wait til you hear his symphonies and piano sonatas! [and you gotta hear the album Preparation for the Final Mystery, which is his last, unfinished work that they cobbled together from his notes. It's pretty great. Kind of like if Beethoven's 9th were supposed to end the world lol ]
If u liked these, i highly recommend checking out Rachmaninoff's etudes tableaux op 33 and op 39. I know youve listened to a couple here and there in your livestreams or separately a long time ago, but they are worth having a video for.
no. 2 has a great performance by pogorelich, and no. 12 has great performances by horowitz and sultanov
I've always been a big fan of pogorelich, and the Horowitz 1968 performance no 12 was my introduction to Scriabin. I would also suggest looking up the Vladimir Sofronitsky recording of no 12. Gave me chills the first time i heard it
Yes youre right, no 8 was composed as a love "Song“
Please listen to more Poulenc! Especially piano and chamber works!
For no.12, you have actually reacted to Sir Horowitz playing it before 😃😃😃
listen to scriabins poem of exstasy - Henry Miller once described it as "an ice cold bath of cocaine and rainbows"
He already reacted to that
Can you react to Alexei sultanov interpretation of the etude Op. 8 no. 12, It's so good trust me.
The best performance of number 12 has to be Horowitz. There’s an old recording on TH-cam, you should check it out!
4 and 5 are the best here. In the next set 1,5,7,8 are best
Op42 no. 6 is underrated imo
Please react to Liszt transcendental etude no.10 and chopin sonata no.3 of seong jin cho's performance
Hi gidi, also please react to chopin sonata 2 in B flat minor, i know that many people like it and are going to watch it. It is also one of my favourite pieces by chopin, thank uuuuuuuu
React to Liszt's Preludes.
I've played Op. 8 No. 5 before. When I listened to the Op. 8 set for the first time, No. 5 stood out to me alongside No. 11 and 12. However, I am not a fan of Gurdal's interpretation of the piece (audio in this video). He plays it way too fast. It has so many emotional moments that I felt he just bypassed.
Also, I'm giving two middle fingers towards No. 10. If it wasn't for this piece, I would 100% learn the entire Op. 8 set. This piece is diabolical! Thirds are the absolute worst. 😩
Like you, my friend, I'm just getting to know Scriabin.
if you haven’t heard them already, i highly recommend his sonatas!
@@6894q much obliged, fellow enthusiast
@@jimschmitz4848 Sonata No. 2 and 4. Preferably the Ruth Laredo album. I guarantee you will absolutely love it and have it on repeat like I did when I first heard them. Cheers!~
@@kaysonpiano 👍👍👍👍
Dud you have to react to chopins valse brilliante, such a fun piece. I recommend Kassia’s interpretation
Hello GIDI, I love this etude set, especially that Op 8 No. 12, simply diabolical that one. Could you please react to Cziffra's "Il Trovatore" Paraphrase, as I love your reactions to performances by cziffra, so I'd like to see how you'd react to one of cziffra's flashiest transcriptions. Have a good day : )
edit: The name of the video for the piece I'm requesting is Cziffra's "Il Trovatore" Paraphrase Audio + Sheet Music
try listening to alkan symphony for solo piano ;)
