I think Richard gets really disappointed when the contestant doesn't choose his answer for one of the three choices because he knows his answer was more than likely the correct one for the $500.00 prize. And he is more than usually right.
Is Patti Deutsch there just for comic relief or does she not really know the answers to the simplest clues. She couldn't even answer head to the clue fig leaf? lol
Oh my gosh... Charles made me LOL: "Not this tune you aint"
Good episode.
He's got a point.

I believe this was the one and only week Jack Albertson did on MG.
Needless to say, Richard doesn't seem to keen on this new rule, which I believe was discontinued by the time the week was over.
stupid rule
By the time the Day was over. Five episodes were filmed in one day.
Didn't anyone explain to Jack the rules of the game before it started?
He doubly bad. He gives lousy answers and he's not funny.

So irritating
She's quite funny but gives off best answers.
What did Jack say? How do you spell "something"? I couldn't understand the last word.
Match Game 75 aired after The Edge of Night on CBS in 1975.

This show was so totally stupid. How did it last all those years?
Possibly because it was so funny and fun that some folks are too stupid to understand it.
@@HansDelbruck53 Nah, it was just pretty stupid.
