Just installed a set from Amazon that were about $40. If you don't remove the mirrors (like I did cause I was scared), you will need a bright flashlight and a very thin (micro) flathead screwdriver for the tab closest to the car's body. The outside tab is easy, the inner one not so much. After pushing the mirror down to do the first (outer) tab, pushing the mirror now on the outer edge will expose the inner tab. In both cases you are looking to pry the black plastic down, releasing the mirror cap while using your other hand to apply forward pressure to the cap. It's not that hard just shine a light in there and do the outer one first so you understand how it works. The rest is pretty easy. They look great!
I got the white version. Much brighter and it sweeps the whole way. Had for like 5 to 6 months. Still works no issues! How long did you have had your old ones for before it died?

When buying Headlights for the MK 7 2015, which do you recommend from AliExpress? And do you buy (1) or (2) in the qty section? How do they differentiate between left and right?
Does yours have a slight seam or gap in the LEDs? . Near the outer side? I'm looking at different ones, supposedly the same inexpensive ones under different brand names. I am not sure if they all have this fine gap/seam in the LEDs or only some?

@@blueyolker4961 they won’t, I got them for over 2 years now. Probably wash my car 1 every 2 weeks. I do car washes and hand washes so both are fine

maybe like 2-3 months. even during the install that side was iffy already

mine is a straight stream line, no gaps
