- What do you put in a bug out bag/go-bag/emergency kit for dogs? In this fun and informative video, a Schnauzer dog packs his very own emergency kit AND go bag. We'll show you how and what you should pack in an emergency kit for your dog (or pet), so that they will have their essential items in case of an emergency or unexpected situation. Scotty the Schnauzer also expertly tests out his backpack/go-bag, so that you can see how he does on foot in case we have to flee without our car and can only carry what's on our backs. The tips in this video are very helpful for all pet owners!
Disasters, fires, and other situations may mean that you and your pets have to flee your home without any notice. Packing an emergency kit for your pet ahead of time will give you peace of mind now and may save their life as well as keep them safe in an emergency!

What kind of disasters take place where YOU live?🤔 Where Scotty and I live, there is constant danger of wildfires🔥.
I live in NW Pennsylvania on the shores of Lake Erie, with 2 miniature schnauzers and a standard schnauzer. We get mostly blizzard in the winter, tornadoes every so often. Summers are all temperatures, cool rainy to sunny and humid. Wow wild fires would scare me.

We’ve know families who have lost their homes here in CA due to wildfires. It’s very dry here so that’s why every year there are multiple fires going on in the summer!
