  • So I've had my locs dyed red for a couple months now and I was over it! Brown will forever be one of my favorite hair colors ever! So I figured I would show you guys how I dye my locs since there aren't many videos out about this! Enjoy!
DISCLAIMER****** I apologize for the watermark in the video! I spent all morning editing the video just to save it and see the watermark there (which would cost too much to remove) Plus this is my second video so I'm trying here! Lol I'll do better I promise!

I love the red but the upkeep is crazy. Thinking brown next.

Good job ! Roots turn faster bc of the heat from your scalp so your correct in leaving them last .

I’m trying to also dye my hair the same color too. What are the colors you used to get this result?

I wanna say I used dark auburn with some kinda of dark brown one (I’m not sure :/, I’m so sorry!) BUT I would DEF get your hair dye from Sally’s and not use a box dye (it faded FAST) Ion’s, L’Oreal (is BY FAR my favorite) those are both great brands! But yeah I def had a dark auburn color mixed with another color (I can’t remember) but I do think it was a dark brown color

How long long did you leave the dye in before rinsing?

I’m not sure exactly but, probably around 1.5-2 hours

    Great video Batt !
How would you suggest to keep moisture every day?

Rose water, and penetrating oil with concentrated oil. So like coconut and olive oil. 100% natural

Can you tell me why you used revlon for the bottom of your dreads and adore for the roots? My hair is red at the bottom like urs but I’m trying to dye brown and achieve your look

Definitely because adore is semi permanent and maybe she didn’t want bleach close to the scalp

Yes! It’ll be super easier! No bleach!

Did you bleach your locs to achieve this look?

    • @Tina52516

But the adore is semi permanent
