No one have a issue with her having a boyfriend at home and she's actually cheating on him. I don't know kind of made me like the character less. Plays into bisexual stereotype of them just going around sleeping with both sexes and no sense of commitment.
If this had some sort of dark plot twist it feels like it could be a black mirror episode. This short film has fantastic quality, it looks like a lot of work has gone into it.
I could feel the connection between them. And the cliffhanger makes it even better because this could play out so many different ways. Thank you for creating & sharing with us❤️

After watching this, I went back and watched 'I love you so much, it's killing them' Now I can't see that actress in any other way. Although, one thing came up short for me in this short film - when Sam takes Riley to the abandoned area with the graffiti, it felt like there was a disconnect between what they talked about and the kiss that came afterwards. I didn't find it believable, especially for Riley to make the move. Perhaps if they had seemed a little more drunk, I'd have believed that 1) Alcohol may have played a part. 2) They had talked a lot more at the bar. (You also could've made one or two more scenes of them talking about something random for this) It just felt too sudden. (And yes, Riley had some ridiculous chemistry with her boss, to the point that I can say that 'I ship it!' just from that tiny interaction) No complaints otherwise (Bar the badly green-screened display of the phone). Production is through the roof, comparable to shows on Netflix. Actresses are really good. Futuristic effects are amazing. Music is amazing. I honestly wouldn't believe you if you said this doesn't have the budget of a full fledged Netflix series or a movie.

My take is this was just a teaser of the story and for you to place it in however you want to later. I think in a way, the app put them together because they are exactly what the other needs and helps to make them better people. That said, I think this story didn't do a good job setting up a how they got from "wow, this isn't working" to "Let me chase after you and then kiss you later." That part wasn't a smooth transition but with more time to show that growth, I can see this being a huge hit.
@@thisisaspoon I think for a bigger project if you're going with the perfect match concept it would be nice to work on the problems like: a person being your match doesn't make them a good partner or a good person. What really makes a match? Does everyone have one? What about jerks? How will the characters make it work if they have such obvious differences in values like these two did? (differing values are one of the toughest things to get over imo, more than habits or way of life) I had trouble connecting with the characters here because of the short format that maybe didn't allow for those plot points. It felt like what should be a longer story was simplified and that made me disconnect from the possibility of them falling in love. Too many "but what about.. " floating in mind. Keep working on it though it can start good stuff and I love it visually, looked professional! And even though the script was clumsy at time it was still cute.
