I present in this video the two parts of Guitars of Jiving Sister Fanny which appear on the Album "Metamorphosis" (1975)
This track was recorded on July 2, 1969 at Olympic Sound Studios, London.
I used a Gibson Les Paul Black Beauty for the Keith Richards part.
Tuning is Open G Tuning (G.D.G.B.D).
The image is the one at the top of the screen.
The sound is on the right channel of the speakers.
I used a Gibson Les Paul deluxe for the Mick Taylor part.

Spot on.! fantastic cover !! Mick T brought so much to the Stones. with Mick T their music was on another level, the best period for the Stones imo. I think Woody is a great player but Mick T is so much more.. I often wonder what could have been if he stayed in the band.

Of all of the guitar heros Mick Taylor is my favorite. He never played a sour note. He must have the greatest ear of all of them. I don't pretend to be able to play like him because I don't have perfect pitch but I sure wish I could. I don' think its a practice thing with him as he is not doing anything that is hard it just always sounds good. Kind of like Segovia, Go ahead and try to sound like that.

Great cover. Like so many people said already, this is definitely one of those overlooked tracks. And, man, the Mick Taylor leads are just so tasty. Speaking of those leads and rhythm, from my knowledge of the shapes and chord structures from other songs, I’m guessing the Keith parts are in Open G (right???), however, are the Mick parts simply in E standard? Por eso en los Stones las dos guitarras son imprescindibles!! Con Brian en los comienzos ,luego Mick en la,para mi,mejor epoca de la banda y luego con Ronie Aunque en la actualidad son apenas un palido reflejo de lo que fueron aun son mi banda preferida
