I started transitioning my hair to gray about 6 months ago. I guess what I am ending up from what I see on the top is silver with blonde streaks which has been a big surprise. I am surprised by the blonde streaks. I did have my hair highlighted several times to lighten the color so the grow out wouldn't be so difficult. Then I had toner applied and the last treatment was gray highlights added back in. I am so glad I am going gray. I don't know why but I really like it.

You are stunning! I love the grey on you. I also completely grew out my natural color! I just went yesterday and had the last of the old bleached hair cut out, and it took me just under 2 years for it to reach my shoulders, but it was completely worth it! I felt the same way you do about just wanting to feel completely like myself again.

My natural hair is white. It took me 4 years to grow it all out to bra strap length as I didn't want to cut my hair. It is now hip length. I get daily compliments. Done are the days of fighting white roots and coloring my hair until it was damaged. So freeing! And I absolutely love my white hair! You look fabulous! I have to smile as I watch this. It amazes me how many people in our worlds think they know what's best for us. When I made the decision to let my hair go natural back in 2007, I had many vocal dissenters who decided it made me look older. It washed me out, some said. Now, all these years later, the world has caught up and my color is the hottest new look for young and old, with wig companies offering countless styles in shades from pure white to wonderful shades of gray. It is so liberating to let the real you out to embrace. You look gorgeous and it is your striking and most unusual color that drew me to you in the first place. My granddaughter grew her hair for 2 years + had it cut off when she was 10 + donated it to make a wig for child cancer sufferers. I think you look beautiful with your natural gray. I haven't colored my hair in two years but still not all the way there yet . I still have a lot of dark hair. Don't let anyone bring you down. You need to live for your happiness. Love & healing light
Lisa you look amazing with any color hair. I have been letting my hair go natural gray and I have several times thought about coloring it back to my natural dark brown. I feel it washes me out. I was having to recolor or touch up every two weeks and I was tired of doing that. Your skin tone matches any color your hair is. Stay beautiful and strong. God Bless.

Kudos to you! You look fabulous! Your makeup is gorgeous (I simply cannot look good in makeup anymore!) I love that you're so positive throughout everything you've been experiencing. You are quite amazing, my friend. It is Month 7 for me growing in my natural white hair. My hair has been bleached blonde for many years now, trying to cover up the grays and finally I had enough. I don't bleach anymore and I use purple shampoo to try to keep this light yellow toned. As you can see from my picture, I'm quite white-headed! But it will be a 2-year journey for me, too...and most of us, as our hair on average grows 1/2" each month. I'm 61 and ready to be au naturel for the remainder of my life. And I love it!

Transitioning is different for everyone. I’m heading into my third year. Initially started with long hair, very dark and had blond highlights put in. Then eventually started cutting my hair shorter and shorter. In my third year my hair is grown out and is collar bone length and am loving my natural colour. It’s liberating and seeing so many more beautiful ladies joining the colour free bandwagon ❤️ Your silver looks amazing and really brings out your beautiful skin tone!

I came across your channel with the bleach fail videos, and I'm loving watching it grow out. It's cool to see the graying pattern that your hair is going through. The natural gray shade looks even better than the died gray shade, which It thought looked great with your coloring.
YOU R GORGEOUS!!! I loved the 5 mth picture. Later for the people saying anything about YOUR hair, it's yours. What's important is that you are happy with it. I always had very dark hair. I think it might be true, being stressed out can make your hair grey. I have been through some very stressful years. My hair has some grey. I am thinking of coloring it, yet the thought of keeping up with it is such a turn off. Lisa, no way does it make you look old. You are so pretty!
