Should I get this game as my first MvC? I haven’t really played fighters in the traditional style outside of Smash Bros, so I may be unfamiliar, but I love the characters here and the gameplay looks fun and fast.
This, as well as many 2d tag fighters are cruel and unforgiving mistresses. They're fun but if you want to not get steamrolled you're gonna have to get familiar with the practice mode. Around the time this was released and onwards these type of games have started to include tutorial modes (and comeback mechanics) to help newer players. Skullgirls has a very extensive one that carries over to most games.
I play Iron Fist all day. I can't build a team without him because of that I follow several Iron Fist users on TH-cam. My top 3 is Weeberman, Spartan Throne and ANBU Blackops.
