- I prefer artificial-only tournaments but if the rules allow, you better have some willowcats ready for summertime Mississippi River events!
Guy and I take a couple days to try and find a bite that can keep up with the best river rats in the Midwest. We still have a lot to learn and explore, so come along as we soak some walleye candy for some nice Mississippi eyes.

i had a super fun day on pool 4 this Monday. the white bass were going absolutely nuts chasing minnows top water. if you kept the jig high you would catch white bass and if you bounced it off bottom you would catch walleye/pike/small mouth/one super angry flathead. I love these videos, teaches me so much. keep it up!

Great Vid Joe, I do something very similar in Saskatchewan rivers. Find current breaks & holes then cast lindy rings at them. Works great.

That wingdam bite has been hot lately. I been catching them on the Berkley dredgers up on pool 9 and 10. Haven’t tried the willowcats yet because of the price. What size weight were you guys using?
Nice I might have to shoot over soon! We were using 1/2-3/4 eggs but way less flow compared to your pools.
