Cut bow hybrid for sure
I used to fish that first lake all the time it was amazing caught my PB brook trout there. However I think it winter killed over this last winter.
Yeah. They took the aerator out of it and killed it. Like what the heck.

By the way, that cutthroat hybrid that you caught, that's actually called a Cutbow which is a cross breed between cutthroat and rainbow.

@@bassntroutfishing Might be informative replaying your videos after posting, but hopefully when and how often ads display is adjustable. To avoid interruption many creators place two ads before a video starts and two at the end. Just a tip if you can influence the ad placement.

Hey man! I fished that lake last year around may and didn’t see much signs of life, I caught one smaller fish but barely say any rises or cruising fish at all, when did you fish this? I know you posted it 5 months ago but im just curious if maybe you were sitting on the footage for a while before posting? Great video regardless! Hopefully I was just there on a bad day

That fish is a Cutbow trout. Cross between and Rainbow and a Cutthroat trout.

Dude, I know the camera flattens out hills and stuff but you should get yourself a Tacoma and laugh at roads like that.
I mean total respect for hiking in and stuff but where you like to do a lot of day trips, being able to drive right up and close to your spots would net you a lot more fishing and camera time

Just saying there are only 4-5 species of cutthroat not 20. There are plenty of subspecies as in crossbreed.. Come out to pyramid lake in Nevada!! I live like 45 min away and the smallest one I have caught is 5-6 pounds, biggest is 23.7!! My dad caught a 27 pounder!! It would be Hella cool if you came out here! And let me know if you do, I will put you on some spots🙏🙏❤️
No there’s quite a few different strains, bonneville, Colorado, bear lake, yellowstone, piute, greenback, west slope, coastal, lahontan, etc. but yeah, none of them even come close to the fish you got in pyramid. I would love to go try it sometime!
