Vincent Battista - yeah i havent found much of an argument not to use contact cleaner. I just figure they cost a lot to replace so can justify an extra few $
For me it was poor mileage and poor acceleration. The sensor measures weight/temp of incoming air and the ecu calculates the fuel required using the reading. Over time, the sensor gets caked in dirt.
I'm sure it happens all the time but allegedly contact cleaner leaves a slight residue (but it's still gotta be better than the grime on it). However having used both they both seem identical. I just went with the maf cleaner because they cost a lot to replace if damaged.
Wow with that music, I've never seen such a sexy mass air flow cleaner.
Huge thanks massive improvement instantly👍👍👍
Yeah was very noticeable on first clean
Hi, mate. Massive improvement on what? Are you referring to fuel consumption? Cheers.

If the air flow sensor is dirty can this effect the boost ?
make sure plug is pushed on hard or light wont turn off even with reset
Terima kasih👍

Does this bring up any code faults on your ecu?
Can I use contact cleaner to clean it? Thanks!
Can I clean it with vinegar, lemon juice and witches hazel?
No! Mad cleaners only. Even contact/circuit cleaner can leave a residue that affects the sensor

Why do we need to clean it bos?

Can i use CarbuCleaner?
I wouldn’t. Carburettor cleaner is harsher and will possible cause damage. This product seems to evaporate quicker and leave no residue.
just took me 3 goes of plugging it in and unplugging it
Can I clean it with another thing?
Juan Antonio Tenorio Castillo electrical contact cleaner.

Alan Legg I’m not to much of a car guy but I’m almost certain you need to use a maf cleaning product.
@@dillon9421 you don't want any residue left on the sensor as it will effect the function, contact cleaner needs to be the non residual type
