Thanks again, Brian! So fun having you in the area. Can't wait to have you come back for more brake boiling rides. Ely Mountain and Blind Squirrel await your return. Our passion is showing off the trails in the Yosemite South Gate area and providing phenomenal customer service at our unique bike shop!
I used to live 30-40 minutes away from here and I have a tent cabin that's been in my family for over 100years right by there!! Such a great area to bike.
Great to see that Yeti being ridden and not hanging on a wall or on display in some shop window. My own 30th Anniversary SB6 has been ridden hard since 2015. The whole second half reminds me of Southern Spain riding.
Just started really trying to ride mountain bikes when I turned 40 last year. From the area and did Maryjane and Willow creek three months ago. Such a blast. Thank you for showing our great area up here!
That slab was insane! I'm guessing that you've "never felt the need for pants" because you've never ridden in VT in November....I was out last Friday for a quick 10 mile ride and it was 17 degrees. I don't own any "pants" but if it's below 20 and going to stay there I damn sure break out the tights. Thanks for the video Brian.
I love that you put, 'I never really feel the need for pants', out there with no explanation. I'm sure everyone one here knows what you mean but if it were taken out of context 🤣
Hola, great video man quick question , how many miles is this ride ? And if you can provide the starting point and end point. I would highly appreciate. Love your channel keep it up.
Why does my rear brake sound like it’s shuddering and when I slide the wheel it makes the entire wheel skip across the ground instead of a smooth slide? Also sounded like they were scrubbing pistons but the pads have plenty of life.
My friend put this bike together for his son and before I knew it he was done th-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L When the son came to put it together he was surprised to see it was already done. All he had to do was take the bike to get air and be on his way. My friend did not have any major problems putting this bike together; small issue was putting one of the brakes on straight; however when the son got home he was able to fix it. The bike rides well gears move correctly; good bike for the price. Wrote review after the son took the bike. Sorry.
They are all on Trail Forks. The guys at Pedal Forward arranged the trip to showcase and encourage visitors to come. They are passionate about riding and the trails we have. No secrets, just big smiles riding Bass Lake :)
Did the people think how to adapt that forest to the climate catastrophy we cause or just cutting down trees? ;d It's great they try something, but arent everyone little terrified that soon it will all look even worse than those worst shown along the trail? ;)
In this area is already happening and fast. So many fires close to each other and the land is going ro take a while to recover. Projects like re-planting and creat sustainable trail will help. But definitely is going to get worst, is up to us to stop the devastating consequences, but fo now we will keep cutting down trees as much as we need to keep this trails running.

Can't wait to do it again!
The ride down over that long granite exposure is so cool looking.
Wow, some of the best trails you've shown in a while - epic.
Yeah man, so good!
@@bkxc if you ever find the time, a really fun 45 minute tech ride out in Livermore, brushy peak. I'd be keen to show you around.
You know your a boss when your riding in the snow. Much respect to your commitment. 💪🔥
Haha, it was worth it to get the real goods!
Those are some local legends you're riding with Brian. Thank you for showcasing our trails.
It was a blast!
Just wanted to say that i really dig the mix of riding and "property-stuff". I hope it´s not too stressfull to get both under one hat.

Most definitely very Spanish!

I used to live in fresno, ca. I am so familiar with bass lake. That was my most favorite lake in the area. I used to enjoy it more than yosemite
So cool to see you on these trails I have been blessed to hike this same exact trails for years and yes they are so beautiful.
I also don't feel a need for pants...
but neighbors always complain when I go outside.
It's a free country!!
Wow that looks amazing to ride.

Thank you so much for the inspiration. I’m starting to dream about going to North America and ride some of these trails. Would be an epic experience.
That Yeti is a nice looking rig, thanks for briefly showing it! Nice ride Brian!

Very good💪💪😍
California, California, California.... New Hampshire!
I love that you put, 'I never really feel the need for pants', out there with no explanation. I'm sure everyone one here knows what you mean but if it were taken out of context 🤣
Hahaha, yeah, I thought I caught them saying something about pants earlier
Funny. I just got a tiny clod of mud up my nose today while riding in similar conditions. The way it happened was a first for me too.
I was wearing pants at the time.
Hahaha!
I see all this beautiful trails I have an transition repeater pedal assist I’m I aloud
"I never felt the need for pants"...lol...I say that every morning at the breakfast table :/
You should ride some LA area trails this winter
Epic
Bass Lake is where the movie "The Great Outdoors" with John Candy and Dan Akroyd was filmed.
What!!? Now that's a fine piece of trivia.
Hola, great video man quick question , how many miles is this ride ? And if you can provide the starting point and end point. I would highly appreciate. Love your channel keep it up.
Great trails, great video! I love the Sierras :)

You can always come to BKXC's place to catch some real mountain biking!!

I'm headed up that way in a week or so. Are the trails well marked? Thanks
Waoooo 🚴🚴 i love this ❤❤❤

Rode it yesterday. Super fun. Very hard to follow if you don’t have a guide
Loved Mary Jane. Willow Creek kicked my ass
Dude, are you up to come to Brazil in 2022?
Toasting brake pads😊
This was excide ! Hahaha
Another awesome video 💪🏻🔥
A quick question : you use gopro to record audio from the others you ride with and lay it over when you edit ?
Check out my video gear link in the description. I use the Rode wireless setup and plug it into the GoPro
How’s the grip level being in and out of the snow like that?
Looks like an incredible ride!
It was better than I thought I would be!
Was that Fresno Dome you were riding at 9:05 ?
No.
Fresno Dome is east past Shuteye Peak

Thanks for the channel shout out too by the way. I’ve noticed you’ve dropped my name a few times in the last few months. Are you subscribed?

“They call me the grape smuggler”……
Not meet the VC?
(13:36) Did he just say "son of a bitch"😆😆
Damn...people actually win those raffles? Was convinced it was a scam.
Entered that raffle myself- cool to see where the bike went! And for a good cause... 🚵
Long video Brian! Was it meant for Patreon?
The patron is one hour, so much riding in Basslake!
Lots of great miles = long video!
How many miles?
If you shuttle like they did around 13.
"Cyclone" Yasi. Typhoon's are northern hemisphere. Japan, etc. Common mistake made by foreigners.
Hi
Who is the lucky person that gets to carry the chainsaw to clear the logs across the trails
Kind of annoying to see you get a full tour, when me as a local basically gets told to find trails myself, because no one wants to let the secret out.
They are all on Trail Forks. The guys at Pedal Forward arranged the trip to showcase and encourage visitors to come. They are passionate about riding and the trails we have. No secrets, just big smiles riding Bass Lake :)
what is wrong with your bike? it sounds so rattily especially over rocks?|||||

There's a lot of dead standing trees. They are not cutting down live trees.
Can't see the point of saying someone is a dropout of highschool...
That's the custom painted yeti frame from Nate Hills and Grow Cycling. :)
I enter the raffle and I was hoping to win that frame he is very lucky
