I always hated the moment at the end of the scene where Jackson asks “does this mean I’m your favourite kid now?” It really takes away the seriousness of this scene, it just felt so unnecessary to treat it like a joke
She clearly didn't hate him she ran off crying and from my experience with friends and there parents a child who is usually really respectful and loves their parents to the moon and back when there's a ruff moment they question what's wrong instead of punishing them for having a moment

Always hated that part at the end of this scene where Jackson has to say the line “does this mean I’m your favourite kid now?”, it really takes away the dramatic intensity of this scene. The audience should’ve been given enough time to really let what just happened between Miley and Robby sink in, and how serious it was. It easily could've been up there with The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air's most emotional scene where Will's father leaves him again! Jackson should’ve just said nothing, and just process what he just observed in his extremely heated argument between his sister and his dad. It would certainly make the later scene where he confronts his dad about not letting Miley go on her own be more meaningful!
From the Wizards of Waverly Place Movie Alex had a argument with her mother after she hate her in a mean way because she wants to go to the party and have her own way
This must have been a rocky hard scene for Miley. It's really sad. I remember one time, my parents didn't want me to be in a Talent Show 2 years ago. They were just worried I would get all twitchy. I was so mad, I felt just like Miley. I was so upset I never wanted to speak to them again! But I felt much better when they changed their mind.
Miley slowly giving up: Fine. How about three? (voice breaks down as Miley goes into tears) I HATE YOU!!!!!!!! I'm sure she's going to be okay. She's just angry. Kids and parents get into fights sometimes. It's normal. Family fights don't last forever.
I don't remember Disney cutting the I hate you part.. but that is why I don't like Disney tho they think its everything about happiness and unicorns stuff..
You're right. It was TRAGIC when Miley said "I hate you!". But she didn't REALLY mean that. Miley was just angry. It was only made in the script. She still loves him anyway.
A reference of "Finding Nemo". Because Nemo said "I hate you" when he had a fight with his dad Marlin and it's a same hurtful word that Miley said to her dad Robby Ray
To be honest, I didn't see what the big deal is with Miley going to Florida by herself with Roxy by her side. As long as Miley had a trusted adult with her, it shouldn't matter. There are kids who actually travelled a long way without a parent with them.
