Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde (Swedish for Cape Waldemar), is a museum located on Djurgården in central Stockholm. The name is composed of Waldemar, an Old German noble male name, and udde, meaning cape. It is derived from a historical name of the island Djurgården, Valmundsö (see History of Djurgården.)

Stockholm is the capital of Sweden. It has the most populous urban area in Sweden as well as in Scandinavia. 1 million people live in the municipality, approximately 1.6 million in the urban area, and 2.4 million in the metropolitan area. The city stretches across fourteen islands where Lake Mälaren flows into the Baltic Sea. Outside the city to the east, and along the coast, is the island chain of the Stockholm archipelago. The area has been settled since the Stone Age, in the 6th millennium BC, and was founded as a city in 1252 by Swedish statesman Birger Jarl. It is also the county seat of Stockholm County.

Museum today, yes, but it was really the home of prince Eugene, well known painter. He bought this piece of land and built the house and studio 1890s

Very nice walk love your videos, l was born in Stockholm but live abroad since - 96, would really like to see the new areas around Nacka, like Nacka strand, Kvarnholmen and Gustavsberg, I love the archipelago part of Stockholm, only 10 - 20 min from the city and beautiful nature, its the best place to live I think!

There are some great museums in Stockholm.
I'm interested in anything Swedish so museums are a great idea! Perhaps do one a month or something. Vasa Museet is my favourite - I visited 10 years ago and am looking at my souvenir mug as I write! I love anything maritime. I live by the sea and love it! Great video by the way of one of my favourite Stockholm islands.
