    When I met Cox on the sunshine coast while he was on the run,he was heading down the beach for a swim,in plain sight of many people..then that arvo I saw him at the house he was staying in,out the front mowing the lawn..he was on the sunshine coast for ages while on the run...not hiding,just being normal & no one even looked at him....

      @@jwr04CFC back then it was like say 20 % of the Oz police where on the take,lots of brown paper bags changed hands,if you had the money to keep putting money in the brown paper bag you got the GREEN LIGHT to do bank jobs etc..the introduction of electronic banking was a game changer for seasoned bank robbers...

    The prison complex of Katingal was a controversial prison built for the most dangerous criminals in NSW. Thats not to say Cox didn't belong there. I was aquainted with a girl whose father was a prison officer at Katingal, so I can only say the Sydney media at the time had a field day with his nickname and the public at large were duly terrified by his socalled reputation.

      @@stoneworx09 Not sure what the tax collector reference is about, but in the community there is a considerable network of people including social workers and psychologists who must assess and work with violent criminals in an effort to keep the community safe. Glorifying the actions of violent offenders doesn't help, though it can be a hallmark of people who secretly wish to copycat such actions. Interesting profile pic you have btw.
