Sabrina?! No! Not Sabrina! It's already enough with Chloe! Not Sabrina!! I mean,I know she actually nice but still,Chloe would make fun of her and laughter at her saying that she's not fit to be a hero unlike her. Sabrina will suffer even more if Chloe found out! And she will! You'll see?
They should make an anime out of this, maybe just a side project with all these scrapped ideas with so much great potential. These styles are so unique and shouldn't be wasted, they should find a way to bring these projects back to us viewers.
I really love the attention to detail in the Miraculous Ladybug Anime style PV. It looks so motivated and epic and i love the old anime quailty to it too! I wish we could get more from Zag. And I agree, it is pretty unique concept. :)
Unpopular opinion, I think the anime had so much potiental and would’ve been better than the 3D version if they obviously put love into it. 3D version is starting to get repetitive and it’s a little hard to keep watching when there’s no other development. Like seriously, is there any other word to describe Adrien besides nice? He also constantly leads on Kagami. Marinette has become a creep and some weird fangirl, I really don’t know what to say anymore lmao. Everyone in the show needs to grow up a little and move on. I’m also disappointed they made Felix a villain rather than just a cold version like the original concept.
A lot of animesdon't go anywhere either. And just like the 3D trailers here, they put a lot of budget into the trailer that probably wouldn't have made it into the show. Meaning you're only seeing what the anime would have looked like at it's best. There's a reason Dragon Ball Z had so many stand off scenes where it's just the two characters staring at eachother.
@@myk1137 Yeah and I’m glad we’re getting somewhere. But still, sometimes the show gets ridiculous. Like yesterday in Rocketear, Nino behaved horribly and like a needy child
Yeah, but to produce 26 episodes per season in that style and quality of animation would require a budget allotted to the likes of Disney and Dreamworks animation teams in America. As it was, no one knew Miraculous would become the world-wide success it did. The investors probably didn't think allowing a larger budget would pay off if the show didn't create much attention outside of western Europe and S. Korea. Now, it would be weird to have stylistic shift. High-quality promos like these are created to show possible investors in order to show the series' potential and why they should support it. This obviously worked. As it is, the budget they did end up with for Season 1 was particularly amazing for a French animated show! American shows can get similar budgets easier, this was a big enough deal. It payed off! We will see this kind of quality for Miraculous in the future though, I'm sure. Thomas Astruc (the creator) has stated that he always hoped this series would be at least 5 seasons long; so his plotting reflects that. Ladybug & Cat Noir: Awakening is the animated movie musical (planned for release in 2021so far). It's supposed to be the Season 5 finale. It will be quite well-funded and the animation will be stunning, I would think. So long as the show maintains it's popularity.
Ugh, I just love the fact about Felix’s relationship with Ladybug. How he wants to use her because she is the definition of luck while he is the definition of unlucky. So that’s why he tries to woo ladybug only because of it, but he not really interested in her. I wanna believe that he will actually fall in love with ladybug first after she helps him something and he focus on finding her actual identity
if they transferred the character designs from 3d into 2d then I'd watch the anime. Personally, I love the 3D designs more since they're soft and round whereas the anime is very sharp, both give off different feels, but if they want to accomplish a cute and softer feel they should go with that. The fighting scenes in the anime look amazing! Adriene's face shape doesn't suit his body for some reason. Idk it looks odd to me.
Ejderha Draws Yeah that is one thing I dont like about the anime, I kinda dont like Felix and Chat Noir's design here. But with 3D Adrien and Chat Noir designs are cute and handsome. But the original concept was kinda cool, Felix cursed with the Cat Miraculous and only wants Ladybug to fall in love with him so he can be free of it was a little dark but cool. But I still prefer Adrien over Felix cause Adrien is just so loveable and sweet even though he has issues at home
The anime just looks so much better, but adrien tho. The show would have been so much better, i mean look at those fight scenes already and the graphics too.
Agree so much! Those 3D models are limiting the creativity they could use in an anime! Facial expression, transformations, motions and fighting scenes! Such a waste!
I'm glad they didn't go with the anime style, but mostly because the stupid cringy moving hair thing. Heart shaped hair. I would have cringed too much to enjoy it
@@kelseypease3631 I actually think it's extremely cute! Also the hair is not awkward. To be honest in the 3d the hair is moving much more weirder than the anime.

For me, I like the 2d and 3d animation and everything they put in it. They done both to see what suits better in their working. Well the different versions have their weak and strong spots. Like if you did 2d yes it would be awesome most of all in the fight scene that looks like its not a kid show but the frames and everything in between might gave up. Yup, maybe I take those too hard but making 2d action scenes have a lot to do. Also I like the way of 2d present the story like there's a real storyline not just fight and clensed akumas on the other hand, 3d animation did its own job. The characters and the background designes were made good it blend to what the environment makes it up for. I also like the way they try to do things differently in 3d comedy and action scenes. The exagerration and such were just too cute I mean, come on please agree to the cute one :
In 3d, adrien looks cute, and like a 14 yr old. In 2d, he looks much more sinister(felix) and looks at least 25.😂Gabriel in anime looks dangerous, whereas in 3d looks like an idiot, and the only superpower he has is to fit his massive mohawk(😂) in his hawk moth mask😂😂😂
The anime is such a cooler show. I tried to watch the greenlit show and it's so juvenile and uninspired that I couldn't get into it. It saddens me that the creator's original vision was compromised so much.
Well it is a kid's show. Of course, your opinion is yours but the creator's vision isn't compromised. It was just an artstyle shift due to technical problems in the anime style.
@@fairybebbiesuwu366 If you paid attention, you'd notice the fighting isn't any different from how the current ladybug is today. If you listen to the silly music being played throughout the whole anime style segment, you could tell it was always meant to be juvenile and lighthearted. But notice the one big problem with the anime style, you could hardly see the spots on ladybug's outfit. This was one of the big problems they had with that style, it was such a pain to animate the spots and throughout fights or certain shots it just looks like ladybug is wearing a plain red suit. If anything, the anime style would have compromised the creator's vision because what's the point of a ladybug themed superhero if you can't see the iconic black spots associated with ladybugs?
Watching this just reminds me how much great ideas and potential this show had and through all of it away. Like, the anime version looked super awesome, so action-packed, is serious an interesting storyline so amazing in creative. @@kojideer1918 since they were just concepts and only last for a few seconds, they were able to make them better. However, for the show they need to animate a lot more, and it would have become way too expensive if they had kept it that way

@@taratih Because Felix hates Marinette and chat noir just wants to use lady bug to break his curse. Which means the only reason he probably turns into cat noir at all is so he can get a kiss from her. It leaves a serious imbalance because he has next to 0 reason to actually want to be with her. Not to mention it makes Marinette feel even wierder than the current show because she has literally no reason to like either cat noir or felix. The work they would have to do to make the characters work over Adrien and current Marinette would have been insane.
I love Felix and Bridgette. I adored the storyline and wanted to see the first episode. I wish Plagg had the power to give his users bad luck though and the only way to reverse would be through a Ladybug holder. It would make perfect sense why they couldn’t be separated from each other ❤️
I really wish this show wasn’t as childish. Because the story is actually good. Edit: like my friends “make fun of me” ( not in a bad way ) for watching it.
I know that the staff concept @ 1:10 was replaced because chat noir has one but like, they could've given LB the power of flight by giving her wings... Chat has cat like reflexes, can see better in the dark, can hear better, can smell better and marinette just has...a yoyo?
I was about to comment the same thing. 😂 I truly love the original idea (don't get me wrong, I love the 3d show as well) because the plot is a bit dark and interesting. To me, it's a very complicated idea due to the personalities of the two, which makes a lot of room for character and relationship development. It's a pretty good anime idea, like, I bet it would be popular among anime fans. So I really hope the creators decide to make the anime after they finish this show. (Sorry if I'm rambling😅)
It was because of the spots on Ladybug's suit, it was gonna be really hard to animate every one of Ladybug's movements in 2d, it's easier to just make the 3d model and make everything from there, or something like that
I love that they pretty much knew exactly how they wanted the transformations to go,, they look almost exactly identical in each version they tried out
The show that is running rn is just plain wrong. Marionette is an actual obsessed maniac and Adrian is eh alright but quite quite boring. The potential was wasted lol

God, it's like looking at a completely different show! Ladybug is already good as it is now, but it's very clear that it could have been *so much more.* It kinda breaks my heart that it was more or less downgraded to being kindergarteners' TV programing (and Disney here in the state). We're missing out on a demographic that could boot this up to even higher levels of popularity!
if you guys didn’t know, i actually love Felix. Comparing his personalities with the 3D Felix and 2D Felix. 2D Felix is considered nicer and a good kid. Comparing to 3D Felix, he’s just a selfish and rude kid.

The anime version just looks darker, it had so much potential! I love the 3D one a lot too because they did such a good job making the project interesting and making the characters cool as hell.
true
Felix (PV Adrien) is going to be in Season 3 episode called "Punisher" which has Alya,Rose,Juleka akumatized

Fanfictions came true
Sabrina?! You'll see?
So Felix will be in this show!!!😄
Now I can't wait to see the episode! Thanks for letting me know!❤
sabrina doesn't deserve a miraculous.
she's probably the most mediocre/blandest character in the entire series.
They want to do a japan world special that’s going to look like that
Unpopular opinion, I think the anime had so much potiental and would’ve been better than the 3D version if they obviously put love into it.
Look at season 4 episodes there way better than ugly looking anime episodes

BUT, HER EYES AS MARINETTE, IT'S WEIRD.
Yeah
The first animation was better honestly like in terms of the coloring
@@FeatheredWingz they were just talking abt the colors I think

Plus, it was more expressive.
Hi
Ugh, I just love the fact about Felix’s relationship with Ladybug. How he wants to use her because she is the definition of luck while he is the definition of unlucky. So that’s why he tries to woo ladybug only because of it, but he not really interested in her. I wanna believe that he will actually fall in love with ladybug first after she helps him something and he focus on finding her actual identity
I’m pretty sure he slowly falls in love with her along the way
@@ell1023true
Omg did you see the yo-yo extended to staff and the way she made a shield it’s so cool ! Hopefully they’ll use that staff concept at some point
The anime would’ve been AWESOME but I still watch and enjoy the final design of the show. But just saying the anime is binge watch till I die
if they transferred the character designs from 3d into 2d then I'd watch the anime.
Same I like the designs of 3d more. It would be better if the 2d version designs are same as the 3d but the plot is dark, like in the 2d
I actually loved both..Sad the anime wasn't finished

The anime is such a cooler show. I tried to watch the greenlit show and it's so juvenile and uninspired that I couldn't get into it. It saddens me that the creator's original vision was compromised so much.
Well it is a kid's show. Of course, your opinion is yours but the creator's vision isn't compromised. It was just an artstyle shift due to technical problems in the anime style.
@@lurkerofthenight not at all just an artstyle shift do you not see how different hte anime handles the fights lol
Except the creator totally sold out so I don't feel bad at all. Especially because when he's criticized on Twitter he throws a fit.
Watching this just reminds me how much great ideas and potential this show had and through all of it away. Like, the anime version looked super awesome, so action-packed, is serious an interesting storyline so amazing in creative. And the animation wasn't half-ass either with the other 3D style
Now the plots just all over the place and not even that serious , and the animation is so plasticy
It actually makes me sad how those ideas and seriously Wicked plots were just wasted😒
The 2D animation was too expensive, sadly, that's why they went with what we have today
@@karlapinkie7697 What about the other 3D-Versions? It's not just the anime but every style in this video looks way better than what we ended up with (I like the show, but there's so much wasted potential).
Karla Pinkie huh I heard that they didn’t make it an anime because it wouldn’t appeal to many, AND, that if they made it 3D and toned down the plot, little kids would appeal to it, giving them more money

@@t0duki ok? But- how would their personalities not make sense?
@@taratih Because Felix hates Marinette and chat noir just wants to use lady bug to break his curse. Which means the only reason he probably turns into cat noir at all is so he can get a kiss from her. It leaves a serious imbalance because he has next to 0 reason to actually want to be with her. Not to mention it makes Marinette feel even wierder than the current show because she has literally no reason to like either cat noir or felix. The work they would have to do to make the characters work over Adrien and current Marinette would have been insane.

She also has the power to catch the Akuma and repair it , I think chat noir is the one who might need some cat like agility
When finished with original Ladybug season they should make it a anime one it be cool

I truly love the original idea (don't get me wrong, I love the 3d show as well) because the plot is a bit dark and interesting. To me, it's a very complicated idea due to the personalities of the two, which makes a lot of room for character and relationship development. It's a pretty good anime idea, like, I bet it would be popular among anime fans. So I really hope the creators decide to make the anime after they finish this show.
