I made a full 3D clay figure, covered it in hot glue, cut the entire thing in half (including the clay figure) then just used something to pop out the clay from the mold. I ended up this using one half of the mold, so it’s a flat back. I hope I explained this well enough 😅

I feel like this craft was so useful, because when I tried to buy it on Amazon there were some really bad reviews,and it didn't look this good! It didn't look this realistic!! Thanks for showing us how to make this!! You work really hard to make these crafts and still have fun!

It hurts me to even think about season 3. It also hurts me to think about "Mako Mermaids " the "sequal". Cuz the Rikki i saw in that show isnt the one i know lol. Anyways, great video. It appeared in my recommended lol. 😅

Mytisch, I'm making these now and the silicone after 36hrs is all deformed and not even that dry. I am using new silicone that's 100% waterproof, and i coated my stones with 2 layers of nail polish. Anything I'm doing wrong? Maybe i need to use non-waterproof silicone? Please let me know cause I'm DYING to have this necklace made!

I’m having trouble getting the clay out of the mold without the silicone sticking to it. Any tips? (My silicons is pretty old idk if that’s an issue. I just bought a new bottle that I’m gonna try it with)

AndWhatAboutIt ? Actually I didn’t use silicone, I used hot glue, and cut out the mold, but remember to put the layer of nail polish on the clay! :)

Yep! Your can try using a clay mold. But you can only use it once, because you have to destroy the clay when the resin is dry.
