I have recently lost to Darkness in a game of Commander. They were even playing the Necron precon, but with only 1 black mana open, and everyone else tapped out, I sure as hell didn't think about playing around it. Woops.
As a mono-black player, I've played Darkness a lot over the years. The main utility is that other players are not expecting the black player to be able to fog.
This episode had some banger cards in it! I'm going to watch it again tomorrow, but tonight (now that I'm home), I'm going to watch the Mono Green Cube video. Thanks, Dev!
A good friend of mine and a local computer tech teacher always told me to just run your keyboard under the tap to clean. Drain as much water out after and let sit to dry a few days. Said they don't really draw enough power to fry the internals, and worse case, you are talking about replacing anyway. This may not be functional advice if it is a mechanical keyboard. I grew up mostly using membranes.
Tyrranax Rex is a lot like one of my old favorites from Ixalan, Carnage Tyrant. +Haste, +Toxic, Ward instead of Hexproof, +1 Power and +(G) more than CTyrant. I'm not sure how to feel about swapping it out in my Pioneer deck as a finisher. I like Hexproof a lot better than Ward....
I play Cleansing Meditation in my Kykar anthems/enchantments deck. Tons of instants/sorcery as my main interaction and draw so Threshold is easy even in the early game. And then all of the constellation effects (Archon of Sun's Grace and Boon of the Spirit Realm are standouts) pretty much end the game.
Always annoyed me a little that Ascendant Evincar didn't have Crovax in the name (I imagine it wouldn't fit on the card). Perfect, perfect art. Can't recall how much he was played back in the day, but he did arrive in a non-Bolt standard era so was reasonably viable with Dark Rituals etc. I do wonder whether Crovax will get a new/dedicated commander card in a few years...
I see now. Didn’t dig too deep, but I don’t really like a lot of his art anyway. It’s quite plain and boring. Especially the Circles of protection he did. Some of my least favourite magic art TBH.
@ Yeah, I just read an article on the dude. Obviously I don’t know if some of his s*** is supposed to be ironic, but I don’t really rate his magic art. It’s kind of bland.

coffee keyboard has us all on the edge of our seats
Can confirm this was my first time seeing Cleansing Meditation!
I was also not aware of Cleansing Meditation. Going in my Daxos Enchantment deck.
Oh, right. The anguished vampire guy who had to kill his own guardian angel. That one, unique guy. Crovax.
The madness deck your talking about i believe was called 'Miracle Grow' i hated playing against it😂

I power out the Rex with Indomitable Creativity in historic.
Not only isn't it just " hilarious " to pull a Island in to a Plains ( 2 basics in a row )
it's a 1 in 12 million parts of a %
I played a ton of Changlings during Kaldheim. Realmwalker was fun.

Bro, cleansing meditation + enchanted evening. Add aura thief for giggles.

The legendddd
Darkness is at least an 8. Fog is at least an 8. They save you in so many games.
Now I’m going to have to look ‘that guy’ up, to see why he sucks.
Look up the card Invoke Prejudice and its history, and it'll become apparent pretty quick.

And the answer was??
@ He was behind the ‘Invoke Prejudice’ card and possibly has a soft spot for Nazism.
You say fog is a bad card but you know what I have to say to that. Hey, shut up.
First.
Let’s go!!!
we waited all day
Worth the wait.
Added another one to the buy list 😅
