I know this doesn't help you feel better but... You may not be at 50k followers, but *THIS* follower makes sure to watch all of your videos! You'll get there. The universe just hasn't figured out how awesome you are yet. Love your stuff, keep being you and keep sharing! I get excited to watch each of your videos, you brighten my day.
I think the stickers look great in the disc system!! Maybe it’s in your brain because all the Insta posts and YT videos of this system are so dead neutral? I love that vibe but also love adding some joy with colorful, fun stickers
I love the flexibility of discs. It's easy enough to carry around too. Now I'm looking for that Levenger cover. Half letter is definitely in my top 2 favorite planner sizes.
Half letter is very fun to use! That's my conference planner. I also adore the undated hourly pages! Thanks so much for showing us how you're using it and that stickers fit!
I also just switched from my Plum Paper daily to the C&P undated daily. I initially thought the fact that it's undated would be a problem, but I'd rather date each day then continue adding the times in the PPP, not to mention the paper issue. Also since I use my daily for work I'm not pulling out or wasting the weekend sheets. I also added the undated weekly sheets from C&P. After one week I love this system but only time will tell. 😁
I’m really looking forward to seeing you use this system. I was a bullet journaler for the longest time but inserts have helped me get back into a planner.
Between you and Katie K my head is bouncing all over the place with these planners. You're both bad influences 😂😍 Switched back to EC for my weekly but debating on what I would like to do for my daily/every day carry. I'm leaning back towards discs. Thank you so much for this video! ❤️
I've used the horizontal layout from Cloth & Paper with colorful stickers and I think it still works! I have a few PWMs, one uses super bright stickers from Create with Mandy.
This is so so cute!! Also wrt color weirdness: maybe it’s the cover? It’s very prominent vs, say, a coil planner, and it’s very obviously a Neutral Planner Color (TM).
I love the half letter size. I use a TN for notes for that reason! Thanks for sharing your mono-elegant set up. I missed that nail polish incident!🤔😄 I hope that no planners were harmed!
I have a big HP for all my sets from a sticker shop I love - it’s mostly for memory keeping- I bought that Martha Stewart cover (her large notebook) and love it so much. That planner looks nice in neutral (IMO) very cool. I would use that for work. ☀️
Placed my order for the EC A5 Daily Duo yesterday, thought about the Plum Paper, but seeing you struggle with the stickers made me go with EC. NOW I'm thinking I should give Discs a try! Love watching your videos, but they're dangerous for my wallet! 😉😂
Loved this video! Enjoy hearing your thoughts and processes (and appreciate your candid thoughts). Really like this setup. I jumped on the minimal- really like the clean, muted look. But I actually need color in my life. Happy colors, but not too much, but balanced. If I may say, I think you should just do your thing and not stress about sub numbers. I've stopped enjoying some channels because their "tone/attitude" changed when they started making it more of a business instead of something fun/ helpful/ enjoyable. Thank you for showing! 🌷💞
I have just recently moved over to this same size disc planner and I love the flexibility. I have to agree with you on the bright colors in it. Although I love my coiled planners I am falling in love with this one. Even more than the happy planner. The free range and ability to change it up is great and it fits in my bags. I did not go with the fabric cover for basically same reason. I DID ENJOY THIS VIDEO! 😉
Julie!!!! For me personally it has too much going on but for you it is perfect. Ditch the others except for what you may need for work. Who cares if you put color...we all need color in our lives!!! If you continue to want to save all your planner calendars/daily just put them on a huge disk that will work for 6 months or a year and there you go.
Oh I love this set up! I think you should try one of Hannah’s kits in the weekly. Maybe her beautiful kit will change your mind about the color 😉 I personally like it. I know C&P aesthetic is minimal but it’s so versatile so I would love to see what you do with it 🤍 big hugs!
Oh man, this video makes me want to pull out my half letter disc system again. I stopped using it awhile ago and got rid of many of the inserts I bought because I wasn’t using it. 🤦🏻♀️ I am currently trying out the A5 rings because I so love using the Cloth & Paper spiral planner they had in a sub box. You’re always so inspiring in your setups, loved this video!
I don’t think I could handle the ‘looser’ paper vs a coil and I’ve spent too much on stickers/kits to switch now but MAN those clear coils w that cover are Beautiful!
Perfect timing Julie! (I need neutral for my brain. Mimics my home decor and closet! I function best without bright colors and patterns distracting me.) Was going to ask if you would recommend a consultation with C&P as this is my first foray into disc planning and am unsure about inserts without seeing them live and in person. Some websites are so minimal with small grey font and low contrast and I find it difficult to see the product! Sooo, your flip through and comments are helping me save a bit of money on the consult. Thank you, Julie. Question to you and your community re: mixing products from different companies. Do the papers and neutral hues coordinate? For example, might there be an obvious difference between a C&P daily and a P&H skinny list insert? Thanks to all for your input.
Thanks for sharing! I am going to switch to a disk bound system in October. Have you checked out Jane's Agenda?? They have BEAUTIFUL stuff and super fast shipping!!
I keep thinking of jumping around to different planners but I’m not sure what to jump into that won’t be a potential waste. 😅 Love the half letter size though! 🤔
Sorry if I missed this, but the cover is from ‘levenger’? Wasn’t sure. Also, how’s the paper quality? Compared to EC, thick/Mohawk rough, bright white? Thank you in advance. Great video!! 👍
This planner is beautiful. No doubt about it. But, I love color! If I made a spread like this for myself, I’d think I picked up someone else’s book. I wonder if adding a thin piece of colorful Washi to the top and bottom of the pages would make a colorful spread feel more natural? Just a thought. Gosh, I miss my discs! Hearing you take pages out of the planner made me homesick for my old system. When I first got my spiral EC monthly and my Binder ECLP, I kept trying to rip the pages out. Fortunately, that is a process I always did with a gentle touch. It kept me from destroying many pages in my new system. Did you say you printed some of the inserts? What kind of paper do you use? Thank you.
I’m confused. You were using a HP for Content. Are you no longer using the HP, or is that now being used for something else? I love the beautiful simplicity of Cloth and Paper. I’m still creating my set-up using inserts.
What if you ordered colourful stickers to fit this Half-Letter planner? And take out the neutral stickers altogether? And what if you purposely switch out the highlighters and Zig Clean Colour Dot markers to use actual bright colours? And just completely switch out all of the neutral aspects of this planner to give it a restart as a coloured planner? And it's a mindset shift for you, I think... Just an idea.
You truly have a “planner” heart gift! Your words are always helpful and inspirational.!

I can’t even begin to tell you how much this comment means to me 🥺 thank you so very much! I truly appreciate each and every one of you 💜
I love how you fill out your daily!
Thank you!
Keep doing the half letter size videos I love the setup
So cute with the kit!

Yes! Literally every pic looks the same!
@@JuliesPlans it’s like the Stepford Planner
I agree- like that vibe, but it doesn't last long- after a while it gets depressing to my brain and I need color.🌷
@@rachaelerin1Right!! Hilarious!!! 🤣
@@solascripturamjc9681 agreed! So ironic to me that the system most open to customization ends up looking the most identical to each other.
OMG, I love the setup! That is awesome that you can use your stickers that you have already invested in. Win Win!
Thank you!!

I look forward to seeing you use this planning system. Blessings.
The Martha Stewart cover is one of my favorites! Could you do a plan with me with the C&P hourly layout, I have been looking for something like those.
Yes, please do.
Glad I’m not the only one with the neutral. I think you do good adding kits. The colors are not bold so it fits inserts very well.

I agree...one day per page

I’ll definitely check out your videos!
@@JuliesPlans That's so sweet of you! I tried to make to work because I love Cloth & Paper inserts, but stickers are necessary!
Love this set up. I want to finish out this year in my current planners then may try this out. It does intrigue me.

Just about two weeks worth of pages we’re harmed lol

The snake print dashboard is from East Street Paper Co

Curious about the size of the ML companion notebooks with the half letter. I love the disc system because it can house so much.
I believe the ML notebooks are slightly taller or shorter… I’ll check when I get home

I change things up often 🤣
Also not using HP for anything for a variety of reasons :)
I cannot find that Levenger cover anywhere…did you buy it online at their store? I am really wanting to go back to discs.
I purchased it Online!
At Levenger? I guess they sold out during their sale
I found a similar one with Talia
Ha ha! I’m not a fan a neutral but it’s trendy now. I need color! ❤️🧡💛💚💜
BTW…this one seems perfect if you can keep everything all in one place
My brain would stop ‘seeing’ things if my planner was that neutral all the time but it is refreshing once in a while.

Edit: and you could buy colourful page flags etc as well
That’s a great idea!
PS you do suck a great job with all the planners!
Meanwhile I have 51 subs. Not 51k. Lol. Literally 51 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
