I am truly surprised this performance has not received more views, comments and "likes" thus far (July 2019). Ms. Taya interprets this lovely piece with the accuracy and feeling that (I believe) Andrew York intended. There's not a hint of "mechanical mimicking" start to finish. I loved the brief homage she paid to Andrew York with a quick fade-over of his musical score. (That simple act was very gracious of her.) All production details are well thought out, from the excellent sound quality, to the tastefully done fades, to the gentle and non-distracting video background. Likewise Ms. Taya took the time to arrange her personal appearance in a way complimenting the professionalism within the other elements of the production. I am always amazed ("dismayed" would be more like it) at how many performers on TH-cam (and it's mostly the guys I'm talking about here) can't seem to bother recording in a non-cluttered environment or even putting on a new clean t-shirt, let alone combing their hair or shaving and at least attempting to dress appropriately for a "public performance". Sadly, we live in an age of "slugs". All the best to you, Ms. Taya, for continued success in your musical career. Your mix of professionalism and artistry is highly appreciated. I greatly look forward to your upcoming productions.
