I am glad someone has pointed that out already! UV resin tends to be quite toxic, especially for your skin. You can develop an allergy towards certain materials when you're exposed to resin too often and you reaally don't want that ;" I think it's even more important to wear protective gear as someone with such a huge following tho! Lots of people don't really seem to think about the fact that this liquid needs precautions and will just copy what their favourite creators might be doing
AAAAA the trinket dishes & keychains are the CUTEST THING i have ever seen!!! i luv luv luv ur videos and u inspire me to try to make some on my own, i hope u keep making and sharing ur art pieces, lots lots of support!! 💖💖💖
Hi! I really enjoyed this video. Everything came out so cute. I would suggest wearing 8MIL gloves and using an organic vapor respirator next time. Uncured resin can cause skin irritation and also respiratory issues. Be safe and have fun! 🤩
Hi, I think next time maybe using black subtitles instead would make it easier to read. Because it disappears, especially when you have a white background, so it’s hard to see it properly. Also, how do you use resin on your brushes without ruining them? And a tip for anyone, if you wanted texture on your fruit you can use a toothbrush to make them a little more realistic. If you’ve used resin idk how much it will show though.
I love these videos !! There so calming and binge worthy, to be honest I don’t think I could ever get bored of this :) love what you do and definitely think you deserve so much !! God bless you 💝☺️
my favorite is definitely the tiny strawberries!! 🍓🩷 i have a question though, how long does it take for the gouache to dry up so that you can paint the other side as well?
Something I’ve noticed, no hate but I think if you made slip (scraps of air dry clay mixed with water) to bond your pieces together I feel you’d get less cracking and resin leaks along your seals. But I love all your stuff and your art either way. ❤❤❤
hello!! i just wanted to ask some questionssss. 1. do you apply the resin the whole clay art or partially (if the whole thing then how do you get it to not stick to anything like the table etc) 2. i see your using a brush, and its at good condition, how do you clean it off?
The strawberries look sooo good I almost want to eat them 😂😂 I wish I can do this but I'm allergic to resin, i touched some by accident from those mini verse set and my hand got an eczema breakout😑
Everyone is “allergic” to resin in this way, it is a highly dangerous substance that causes skin irritation and even chemical burns. You should never, ever come into physical contact with it, nor breathe in the vapors it gives off when curing. It’s not an allergy, it’s actually just uncured resin being very bad for us. This is why you should always wear gloves when handling it.
I think the watermelon and the crate was my favorite. Also, as many have said, please use safety gear around the resin...gloves and respirator. This stuff is toxic!
hii! do you use any tools to dry your clay and paint faster? i noticed that you use a uv nail lamp for drying the resin, so do you dry the clay/paint with the nail bed too or do you use any tools/ let it dry?
The nail lamp is used to cure the UV resin, not “dry” it. It’s a chemical process that hardens the resin. This lamp won’t impact drying times for clay. Technically, you can speed along air dry clay using heat from, say, a hair dryer, but this might cause it to dry unevenly and crack. The best thing to do is just let it dry on its own. Hope this helps!
is the clay you use light when it dries? i heard regular air dry clay can be pretty heavy after drying, google said paper based air dry clay is lighter so i just wanted to know first before starting anything😅
hello gazoo! can i ask how long do you dry the uv resin with the uv light? bcs when i made it it still felt sticky, and there was dust in it. do you have any tips? thank you🥰
I’m not who you were asking for, but I do know that if your UV resin is still sticky, it’s because your light isn’t strong enough to cure it quickly. In this case, all you can do is leave the light over it for a long time-there is no prescribed limit, it’s just until the resin cures. You can also cure it in sunlight, though this can take hours. Your dust issue can be remedied by leaving it to cure in a newly dusted environment, or covering it with something transparent, like a plastic sheet. I would caution you on this, however, as excessive heat can meddle with the resin, causing it to bubble up as it cures. Plastic tends to insulate heat, because it is air tight. So if you do this, I’d avoid leaving it in a hot room, and I wouldn’t put it outside to cure if it’s an especially hot day.
I’ve had this issue too, and i fixed it by gluing the pin back in later with a strong glue. Sometimes, though, you can inset the pin and surround it later with an extra layer of clay right up to the post to hold it in place
Hello! Can I ask what are those metal rings being inserted into the clay called? And do they fall out? I'm looking to try out clay sculpting too and it's fun to work on stuff with your video playing.
Those are eye pins! They have a long post with a rounded part at the end to attach to a chain or other fixture. They can fall out of clay, but this can be stopped by bending a hook to the other end of the post as you insert it, and making sure to add more clay around the exposed part of the pin later. If your eye pin falls out after the piece is dry, just glue it back in with strong glue.
It wouldn’t reactivate it in the same way, no. However, gouache is a water based paint, and resin and water do not mix well at all. Water will affect negatively the curing process of the resin. This is why you should always coat any water based paint (gouache, watercolor, etc) that you plan on using next to resin with acrylic based varnishes. Acrylic is a type of plastic, which means acrylic paints and varnishes/finishes are impenetrable to water, and also act as plastic seal between anything they sit on top of and anything else. In one of her earlier videos, this artist used gouache paint to tint her resin, and it came out with massive bubbles and suspended particles in it.
@@DannyDevitoOffical-TrustMeBro tysm! I want to start making clay crafts and while messing up is part of the process I'd like to make it as little as possible because of the cost of materials. This will be huge help thankyouu
Yes, just keep in mind that the heat from a hair dryer isn’t very strong, so if you’re working with thicker layers it won’t rid the resin of all the bubbles.
If your UV resin is sticky, that’s because it’s not fully cured. If you don’t have a powerful enough UV light to flash cure it, you must leave it over the resin for an extended period of time until it is fully hard. If you don’t have a light at all, leave your project in direct sun exposure for a long time, an hour or more depending on how much resin there is (the sun’s rays contain UV light).
is air dry clay durable enough for a keychain? I wanna make keychains too but I don't know if it's durable enough. epoxy clay is durable enough but I can't afford to buy a decent amount of epoxy
It depends on the clay. If your clay is especially light, it might want to rip apart. I think this can be fixed my mixing a slow drying glue like Elmer’s glue into it when you knead it. If it won’t hold to a key chain fixture, you can glue the key chain post into a hole in the clay, and that should hold it fine. Just make sure to use a strong glue. I would say that most air dry clay types should be fine to make key chains with, as long as the bond to the chain is strong.
There's something so satisfying about magnetic objects snapping together, especially if they look that cute 🍉
An aquatic theme would be super pretty like the shrink plastic fish you did!
Maybe try school stuff-your juice boxes magnets were so cute. Your fruits also remind me of gardening, farms, and picnics
I have been pretty stressed lately and watching your videos is so relaxing for me. Just wanted to convey my appreciation for these videos.

pls use safety gear when handling resin
Yes safety for your eyes when using the UV light
I find gloves restricting and uncomfortable. I use finger cots to protect the skin on my hands.

those metallics are fantastic ☺☺
There is UV resin that is thinner and will be easier to apply and self-level btw also traditional 2-part resin is very liquid and self leveling

When sanding you can probably use water with the sand paper.
One of the first ones to watch. Perfect way of starting my Day!!
I love your channel so much ❣️

for how many minutes do u cure the clear layer of resin?
What are you using on the surface to make is smooth ?
water
Can we use regular paint varnish instead of clay varnish or resin?
Yes. If it’s acrylic, it should work to prevent most paints underneath. Just be careful, sometimes varnishes can smudge paint around.
My dear friend very beautiful ❤😊
if i don't have a heatgun.. is a hair dryer can fix the bubble too?
Hi, a long neck lighter works great x
Yes, just keep in mind that the heat from a hair dryer isn’t very strong, so if you’re working with thicker layers it won’t rid the resin of all the bubbles.
you can make bff stuff with magnets,ı think it will end up perfect

Are these colors acrylic?
I think it’s gouache
She does use gouache, but it’s recommended to use acrylic because it won’t react with resin.
