2001, I was 12. My Dad and step Mom brought my step brother and I to the Vermont Champlain Valley Fair to see Blink 182 perform. It was our first concert. Pouring rain. We stood on our metal foldable chairs. You guys opened for them and I fell in love.
I was on the Drive Thru Records Street team in high school and promoted a show for Saves The Day, Piebald and New Found Glory. I think the show was in Worcester. They sent some sweet tour posters. I put those posters around my high school and gave them out at local shows. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a ride to that show, but because of the street team, I fell in love with NFG!
All started when Hit or Miss was premiering on kerrang TV, god they were the days! Bought the self titled album and everyone in my household became obsessed with it, think we had at least 4 copy's of it as we was all stealing it from each other! I'm From Worcester, Mass. DTR was my life during high school oh yes. when music was rad. I was lucky enough to find the rare nothing gold can stay with the movie tracks in the beginning of some of the tracks.
The first time I ever heard NFG was when I bought the self-titled album and took it with me on a trip to a Sea World marine biology summer camp I attended with my best friend. I was 13 at the time and was discovering new music. I heard that NFG was from my hometown, Coral Springs, and I saved up some money I earned from getting straight As on report cards to buy CDs (this is was back in 2001 before I owned an iPod). The first time I listened to the self-titled album was when I was on the plane sitting next to my best friend. It was the first trip I ever took without my parents, my first bit of independence I ever had. I remember as soon as the first few riffs of Better Off Dead hit me, I fell in love. I love every track of that album. I listened to it on repeat throughout that trip. I must have listened to it over 100 times in the first few days alone. My first concert ever was an NFG concert at the Bronco Bowl in 2001 (maybe 2002?), which I attended with the same friend. She passed away a few years ago when we were both 28, and every now and then when I want to remember the good times we had, I listen to the self-titled album. Every time I listen to it, I can still remember her smile and how giddy we were when we took our first trip together.
New Found Glory are the true leaders of Pop Punk. Assuming a listener had never heard a single song from them, they could play any number of random songs from throughout their nearly 25 year history and you would have no idea which songs came when.
It isn’t the best story but I discovered New Found Glory in the summer of 2000 at a 4H sleep away camp. We were always listening to music in the cabins and I would later discover that my new obsession were the tracks from FTSTYS. Again, at the time, I didn’t know this and when I got home from camp my dad took me to Tower Records and bought Nothing Gold Can Stay. While I was initially disappointed that those songs I had been listening to weren’t there I quickly got over it and have been a fan ever since.
I was in high school in 2003 and during our lunch they played “My Friends Over You” over the sound system and I asked my friend “Who sings this?” “I think it’s a band called New Found Glory” And I went home after school and immediately searched you guys online and fell in love with the band ever since.
The first time I heard about New Found Glory, was in 2003, I was 12. My brother and I were watching MTV 2’s Control Freak. The show where viewers can call in and vote for which music video played next out of the three that were listed on the side of the screen while another video played. I forget the music video playing, but the viewers choice was between My Friend’s Over You, Eminem-Lose Yourself, and I forget the other song. We sooo badly wanted Lose Yourself to win, and I remember us both being upset when it didn’t lol. We decided to keep the show on and listen to this New Found Glory band. We instantly fell in love with the song! The next day, we asked our mom to purchase the album for us. Then Catalyst when it came out the following year! My first time seeing New Found Glory live, was August 2004 at Warped Tour! Love you guys!!

I was in high school in 2000, & happened to be riding in my buddy’s car who was blasting the self titled album. I went out later that day & bought a copy & been a fan ever since. The best part of this experience for me, is that as the highs & lows of life have come & gone over the last 20 years NFG has been there to celebrate the highs & help me get through the lows. It’s a tell tale of heart in the winter of 95. Defeated, I was just passing time listening to the broken sound of my Sony Walkman. My friend from Pennsylvania gave me a blue stare saying it never snows in Florida. Realizing that fate is made never sometimes, I followed my 2s and 3s and went for it, like it was 3rd and long. It could’ve been hit or miss, but lucky for us, we never sang our goodbye song. But really, bought the self titled after they opened for blink with midtown.

The first time I heard about New Found Glory was in 2001. I was a 7th grader at Cupertino Middle School in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was introduced to Nothing Gold Can Stay through three of my friends at the time. I was already exploring the pop punk scene through bands like Good Charlotte & SR-71. Shortly after hearing about them, my mom and I took a weekend trip to San Francisco and we stopped at the Serra Monte mall. My mom took me to (probably) Sam Goody and bought me the self-titled album and another CD. I was absolutely OBSESSED and have stayed that way. I've seen these dudes live 30+, have the band named tattooed on me (done by Jordan Pundik himself back in 2013) and I went on both Parahoy cruises mostly to be on a cruise ship with my favorite band. NFG for life!

As a 42 yr old. I was a sxe hardcore kid growing up and didn't care for a lot of the cheesey pop punk bands. But the firsr time I herd hit or miss in 99 I was hooked. Nothing gold can stay would be mixed into my play list with unbroken, mouthpiece, gorilla biscuits, 10 yrd fight and so on. Thanks guys for 20 plus yrs of great music and staying true to yourselves. 2000, I was a 14 year old freshman in high school. I was at a friends house when she played me a song off of the Self-Titled album. I was really into Greenday and Blink-182, and she thought it was right up my alley. She played me “Sincerely Me.” She was right. I went and tracked down It’s All About the Girls and Nothing Gold Can Stay within a week. We formed our own garage band and one of the first songs I taught myself on the bass was “Sincerely Me”. (We were terrible and only able to play “Brainstew” collectively and legibly as a group, but NFG inspired us to play and use music as an outlet). I’ve been a fan of every song and every album since that day. NFG has been a part of my life for the last 20 years. Whatever mood or situation I find myself in, there’s a song for that.
I first heard about nfg in around 2002 the time sticks and stones come out. Listening to them and simple plan got me through my art gcse exam. So thankful we were allowed cd players in there. My love for them has just continued to grow. Seen then multiple times live and have a cd collection they would be proud of. Everyone who knows me personally knows how much I love those guys. I cant ever thank them enough for sonny either. My favorite song and great lyrics. Also got the words tattood down my side in memory of my grandad. Pictures fade away but memory is forever ❤
I vividly remember the first time I heard the words “New Found Glory” in 2001 when I was 17. I was at my then-boyfriend’s house when his friend brought us our tickets to the Blink-182 concert we were all going to. My bf and I had different musical preferences and Blink was the only band we could agree on at the time. His friend said that the opening bands would be New Found Glory and Midtown. At the concert in Nashville, my bf sang along to “Hit or Miss” and I was surprised he knew the song. I really enjoyed their performance and after the concert the Self-Titled CD stayed on repeat. My relationship with my high school boyfriend didn’t last but my love for New Found Glory certainly has! Almost 20 years since I first heard of them and those years have been full of so many great memories with my favorite band. New Found Glory has been so good to me and so good for me and I will happily support them until the day I die.

I remember being 7 about to turn 8 when Sticks and Stones first came out. My dad took my brother and I to the store with him and bought it then on the ride home I heard understatement and it blew me away. I became obsessed with the cd immediately and never stopped. Music started to take over my life when I found out about NFG because it hit something in me I'd never felt before. Fast forward 18 years and nothing has changed!
I was 14 and on a 4H trip with my older brother (who I looked up to so hard) and grandma. We were traveling through NYC the year after 9/11 and Ground Zero was essentially a big black plastic tarp surrounded by a big fence. I remember this because being from Oklahoma the gravity of the explosions hadn’t really registered until then. Additionally there was a girl on the trip who had picked me as her target of ridicule. She had me crying nearly everyday. My brother was really into Pop Punk and Sticks and Stones has just released. He got it just before the trip. He saw how sad I was and leant me his CD Walkman with S&S in it. And that was it for me, I never gave the Walkman back the whole rest of the trip and like 20 batteries later (this was a road trip). Sticks and Stones saved me from some seriously mean people back in the day. I was sucked in from that moment on. NFG has been my fav band since that trip, I’m nearly 32 now. When I was turning 15 my cousin was interviewing y’all at Warped Tour (I think) and asked Jordan to call me. True to form I was shopping at Hot Topic and missed the phone call. Whatever though because J left me an amazing voice mail that had me crying in the middle of the store, something to the affect of “hey kimber! Your cousin tells me it’s your birthday! I hope it kicks ass and hopefully your legal now!” As you can imagine this was the best bday gift I could’ve ever asked for. And theeennnnn around my 16th birthday my best friend passed away and Catalyst came out. Again, y’all came thru and kept me safe and sane. I’ll never forget what this band has done for me in terms of keeping me happy when the times are real low. Forever and always my dudes. P.s. I love the new album. Bought it at Target so I could have some sweet arm too!

The first song I heard from NFG was “my friends over you” on mtv. I was fighting with my girlfriend at the time about how I spend too much time with my friends. I was 16 lol. When I heard the lyrics, I was like. “F*#k yeah” and never looked back. I went back and bought the albums before “sticks and stones” and have listened to them religiously since then. Literally.
I remember more than 20 years ago when the first album dropped. They definitely embodied everything that pop punk should be, in my opinion. And to STILL be pumping out bangers two decades down the road without majorly changing their sound is pretty legendary. I can't think of any bands save for Muse that haven't significantly modified their true tone and kept selling records at the same pace. Glad these guys are back again.
A friend lent me the CD of the self title and just listening to it once seemed so incredible that I put it on repeat a few more times. From that day until today they are one of my favorite bands with songs that represent and represent me in many moments of my life as if I had written them like this. Cheers from Argentina! 🇦🇷
I can't remember the first time I heard NFG but I saw them at Club Q at least once so it's been a while. My favorite NFG story though is I found out a girl I liked was into them. So when Sticks and Stones came out, I skipped first period and went to Camelot Music (I think it was Camelot. It was whatever turned into FYE) and bought two copies. I got back to school and gave her a copy. She hugged me told me she would call me after school and I never heard from her again. Great video guys! 🤘
I first heard New Found Glory while working in the mail room at a newspaper in Quincy, IL in 2000. A kid working next to me handed me his discman and it had "From the screen to your stereo" playing and I was hooked and that dude turned into one of my best buds! -Adam
I was in junior high just getting into skateboarding. My friends and I would always trade CDs with each other to burn. We had a new kid start recently and he brought Nothing Gold Can Stay for us to rip (sorry). When I put that CD in my mom’s car, it changed the game. It became the soundtrack to my youth. Eventually I bought the self-titled album and it spiralled into me wanting to learn bass. I’d jam along to Sincerely Me and All About Her in my room for hours on end.
New found glory was one of the first bands I got into. I saw you guys on tour with blink 182 and midtown. In Denver Colorado fiddlers green. I fell in love and you guys have been my favorite band ever since. I got the self titled album and listened to it on repeat. I am now 33 years old and I have been to every show in Denver since and I am always in the front row screaming my lungs out! My bf says he has never seen someone love a band as much as I love NFG. Partied in my living room for the live stream. My dad took me to that show at fiddlers green and has seen you a handful of times. More in the early years because I wasn’t old enough to drive! My first introduction to Pop Punk was New Found Glory back in 2004 on my first date with a friend from school who was home from the Army on a two week leave. I was hooked from that day on -to both NFG and the guy. We've been together over 15 years, married 12, and have a beautiful life we share together with our 4 year old daughter. We're still huge fans and love going to shows (our last 2 were cancelled so we can't wait til the next show.) Keep going strong guys!
First time I heard NFG was my freshman year in high school. "My Friends Over You" was just released and was one of the songs that was played in the hallways in the morning. I got Sticks and Stones that year. My most memorable song is actually All Downhill From Here, when it came out in 2004. I remember watching the MV on MTV (the good old days) during the summer, and listened to Catalyst for the whole year. It was the first time I had an album that I enjoyed every song! It was in 2000. My boyfriend at the time was a bass player and was obsessed with learning to play the opening from Sincerly Me. As we listened to the song (and album) on repeat, I became hooked on NFG. By the time Sticks and Stones was released we weren't together anymore. It is safe to say 20 years later that NFG is a love that will last a lifetime.
The first NFG album I ever heard was sticks and stones. I was trying to get into punk music cause the biblical hymns at school just weren't doing it for me...a friend had the aforementioned CD so I asked my mom if I could get a copy at Walmart. I liked it a lot. My Friends Over You was awesome. Understatement was awesome. Something I Call Personality awesome. Next day at school the same friend said NFG were "gay" and sounded like girls. I felt embarrassed and stupid. Didn't rly dive further into that sound until a few years ago when I met a girl who was the only other person I met who liked pop punk. She also liked NFG and I felt reunited and vindicated. I found a lot of NFG songs I would have otherwise missed. Makes Me Sick slaps. Hit or Miss is near and dear to my heart now bc it was her ringtone for the longest time. We're married now and have seen NFG live alongside Bayside and William Ryan Key. Have two wonderful boys and an amazing life together.
The same thing happened to me, 10 years ago when I was 15 all of my friends gave me a hard time because I only played pop punk songs at hangouts. After a while I even got the nickname blink 182 lol. I even tried to get my friends to start a pop punk band and play and write pop punk songs, since I supported all of their 70s and 80s rock/50s and 60s blues/80s metal and 2000s death metal/acoustic rock and mid 2000s soft rock, and solo rock projects. But nobody wanted to support my pop punk project and I was the only bassist in town. I figured it was better to be playing with someone than in my room alone so I just suck it up. They used to tell me to turn my beloved pop punk music down or off, and back in the day I did because they would make fun of me and the music I loved. Nowadays if someone tells me to turn it off or down or makes fun of me for being 26 and listening to pop punk, I turn that shit up 🤙

I remember first time I heard NFG I was 13, and I bumped into 'My Friends Over You' on Mtv. What really stuck with me (super catchy tune apart) was Chad doing the sXe gesture cause, to give some context, at the time I was struggling with depression and lost my father few years priors, which was an alcoholic; so despite grewing up as a pretty silent and shy kid, I ended up blastered in my early teens and I felt like punk rock music really pulled the right strings with me. Discovering about straight edge and getting totally absorbed by it given the shit I had to go through my father's struggles just felt natural to me. But there was no straight edge covering not even on Mtv, which at the time was pretty cool with all the Blink182 and punk rock overall exposure, and all I could get was some crappy Youth of Today tapes mastered by the older brother of one of my classmates. Internet wasn't even an option back then, we were broke af. From that moment on, I always had a soft spot for NFG, even tho here in Europe it's never been easy to see them live. Now I'm my 30s, I went some shit back then but I'm almost 10 years clean, and still defending pop punk ;)
I remember my big brother coming back with the nothing can stay gold album the day of release in the UK. Telling me to have a listen I was hooked instantly. He used to play it in the garage n tried to teach me how to play guitar. I'm 27 now and still love it like the day I first heard it.
Pretty sure the 1st time I ever heard NFG was through Tom Delonge's impression of Jordan singing 'Boy Crazy' on Urethra Chronicles II - followed immediately by a clip of Mark performing 'Sincerely Me' with them. Blink definitely put NFG on the spotlight back then.

My most memorable earliest moment of New Found Glory was summer of 2002. My parents picked me up from middle school band camp at GCSU (Georgia). It had been my birthday while away so when my parents arrived, they brought a couple birthday presents in the car. The present I was most excited about was Sticks and Stones. I listened to that cd on my personal cd player nonstop during the 3 hour trip home. I listened to that album a few days ago and still remember all the words. Thank you!
Laying on my Girlfriend's bedroom floor, bout 3am. We had one of the warped tour CDs playing. Could NOT work up the courage to kiss her. Hit or Miss came on, so when I sang to her, "Have I waited too long? Have I found that someone?" She said, "Kiss me." When the kiss was over she smiled and said, "I think we both just found that someone!" Best. Night. Of my. Life! Still love that girl too!
My sister and I got an old CD player when our older sister moved out and a copy of Stick & Stones was stuck in one of the CD slots and we would listen to it almost every day. To this day, it’s our favorite record to listen to together.
First time i heard new found glory was back when the PS2 game “Burnout 3 Takedown” came out, i was playing it and then all the sudden the song “At Least i’m Known For Something ” playing on the game radio, i legit i stopped the car so i can clearly listen to the song 😄 after that i listen to every record you guys made 🙌

I first heard you guys when I stumbled upon my friends over you in 2002 when I was 12 and I was obsessed! I then bought the Drive-thru records DVD and the story so far one and would watch them every single day. I got my sisters saying "and why are we in the ocean? It is because... we are trying to finddd... lost fishes." for years because of that DVD haha. My first rock show was the Honda civic tour with NFG, MXPX, and Good Charlotte in 2003, I was 13. Then the first show I went to with my boyfriend was seeing NFG together, we got matching tattoos so when vicious love came out it really resonated with us. We're still going strong 8 years later. He's made it a tradition to buy me every new NFG album when they came out including this latest one. You can say NFG has been a staple in our relationship and so many other amazing memories in my life, it makes me so happy🥺 I am now 30 years old and you guys are still one of my favorites ever!🖤

The first time I heard NFG was in my senior year of high school; I was just getting into the whole pop punk and alternative music scene... a few friends introduced me to some bands and NFG was one of them, soon after I ordered a bunch of CDs using the Columbia music CD club (who remembers this? Buy one for a penny and get 10 free lol). The self titled album was one of the cds I ordered and I immediately fell in love and never looked back. The song’s were so relatable and fun and helped take me from a sad and dark place to a more positive one in those moments. Shortly after I got sticks and stones and knew I was a forever fan. 19 years later and Countless memories I will forever cherish. I love you guys and thank you for the music you make. 🖤
I heard 10 seconds of this incredible song while watching “American pie 2” in the movie theater. I immediately went out and bought the soundtrack to try and find the song, but Unfortunately the song was not included on the soundtrack, and I was pretty disappointed; never watched the movie again for a while so I forgot the exact riff, just knew there was a jam in the movie that had immediately caught my attention. In the meantime I found NFG through my brother after that and listened ever since. Years later, I got around to revisiting American pie 2, just to see if I could recognize that song I loved for a few seconds from the movie, and realized “Holy sh**, that’s ‘Hit or Miss’. I’ve had it all this time.”

The first time I ever heard New Found Glory was in 2010. I went to the Scranton Vans Warped Tour and got a sampler CD from Epitaph Records and “Truck Stop Blues” was on it. It reeled me right in and now New Found Glory is one of my all time favorite bands. NFG Forever 🤘🏻

It was Summer 2003, went to the mall with my cousins and my mom gave me $20 to spend. I remember i had just gotten into Good Charlotte during 8th grade and saw that NFG had played with GC at a festival and thought I had to check you guys out. My parents rarely gave me money to spend so I had to spend my money wisely. I was going through the “rock” section at my local FYE store and came across the “Sticks and Stones” album and remember loving the art work. ( I also bought my first MXPX album and falling in love with Pop Punk music) Through out the bus drive to my house I opened the cd up and constantly flipped through the booklet and I was just anxiously waiting till I got home to listen to it on my CD player. As soon as I heard “Understatement” I fell in love with you guys and played that album for MONTHS! S&S will always be one of my favorite records, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Even after 17 years, I can still listen to that record none stop. It has gotten me through so much through out the years that I really don’t have the words to explain how thankful I am to have such an amazing record. They are songs that just stick to me forever, like Sonny always reminds me of my grandmother and how it help me get through her passing in 2015, and The Story So Far... reminds me of lost love but how I should just be true to myself and let the world do it’s thing. Both those songs make me cry. But I love them to death. And to be completely honest “Forever And Ever x Infinity” reminds me a lot of S&S. I’ve had it on replay since it dropped. I love you guys, thanks for making such amazing music and for filling my life with so many great memories and connecting to so many amazing NFG fans. Can’t wait to see you guys play a live again. Summer 2001 on the first ever Honda Civic Tour headlined by Blink-182. You were supporting them with Alkaline Trio. I had just turned 15 and was entering my Freshmen year in high school. I was there to see Blink and had never heard of you guys. I'm ashamed to admit, I blew you off and never even paid attention, as I just wanted Blink to come on stage. Fast forward a year later and a day after my 16th birthday, I was anxiously awaiting the release of Sticks and Stones. The first time I heard New Found Glory was in hs while hanging out with my bestie & driving my parents wagon down back roads with the speakers blaring to hit or miss. Some of our favorite memories!
When I was in junior high my dad got me an iPod but at that time I wasn't big into music. One of my friends took it to put music on it for me and new found glory was one of the bands. I instantly fell in love. I have kids now and new found glory is one of their favorite bands on our morning music play list.
I remember the first time I heard a New Found Glory song... it was 2005 and I was at the roller rink. My crush worked there and he was DJ’ing that night. He played “I Don’t Wanna Know” and I was curious who sang it so I asked him about the song later that night. It turned out that New Found Glory was his favorite band. It was ‘99. Rosko (an older friend of mine who provided us all the “new” punk and emo stuff he discovered) brought us a musicassette of “Nothing Gold Can Stay”. That summer I went inter-railing Europe and kept NFG in my Walkman all the time. I’m 38 now, and still listen to your music (also with my kids)!
Discovered you guys around the self titled era. My friend shown me Vegas and Dressed to Kill and I was hooked. 20 years, 50+ shows and numerous tattoos later im still here. Forever.
First time I heard NFG was the song Hit or Miss while I was at a Summer Camp in Tampa around the year 2000. I was 12 at that time. Still remember trying to learn all the words that summer. Got my wife hooked on NFG with the album Coming Home back when we were 18. Now we’re 32 and still love NFG!
The first time I heard you guys was in 1999 in 8th grade. The next year, my dad dropped me off at St. Andrews Hall in Detroit with a friend....Jordan signed my arm...and when my dad picked me up I told him I was never washing my arm again 😂 21 years later, I have not missed a show. Traveled 8 hours to Lancaster. PA in 2004 to see you play and met Ian this past December at a Panthers game. Now living in Florida, I love that I get to see you play every year (minus 2020-did watch the Song a thon!). Thank you for being the soundtrack to my life!

2001, I was 12. My Dad and step Mom brought my step brother and I to the Vermont Champlain Valley Fair to see Blink 182 perform. It was our first concert. Pouring rain. We stood on our metal foldable chairs. You guys opened for them and I fell in love.
I was on the Drive Thru Records Street team in high school and promoted a show for Saves The Day, Piebald and New Found Glory. I think the show was in Worcester. They sent some sweet tour posters. I put those posters around my high school and gave them out at local shows. Unfortunately, I couldn’t get a ride to that show, but because of the street team, I fell in love with NFG!
All started when Hit or Miss was premiering on kerrang TV, god they were the days! Bought the self titled album and everyone in my household became obsessed with it, think we had at least 4 copy's of it as we was all stealing it from each other! Even my own mother became a pop punk nerd overnight she is in her 50's and still loves you guys! Always been a fan and always will be! 💘 from me,my family and the UK! Never stop

I really like how bands like new found glory arent trying to be trendy. They just do their thing!
The first time I ever heard NFG was when I bought the self-titled album and took it with me on a trip to a Sea World marine biology summer camp I attended with my best friend. I was 13 at the time and was discovering new music. I heard that NFG was from my hometown, Coral Springs, and I saved up some money I earned from getting straight As on report cards to buy CDs (this is was back in 2001 before I owned an iPod). The first time I listened to the self-titled album was when I was on the plane sitting next to my best friend. It was the first trip I ever took without my parents, my first bit of independence I ever had. I remember as soon as the first few riffs of Better Off Dead hit me, I fell in love. I love every track of that album. I listened to it on repeat throughout that trip. I must have listened to it over 100 times in the first few days alone. My first concert ever was an NFG concert at the Bronco Bowl in 2001 (maybe 2002?), which I attended with the same friend. She passed away a few years ago when we were both 28, and every now and then when I want to remember the good times we had, I listen to the self-titled album. Every time I listen to it, I can still remember her smile and how giddy we were when we took our first trip together.

New Found Glory are the true leaders of Pop Punk. Assuming a listener had never heard a single song from them, they could play any number of random songs from throughout their nearly 25 year history and you would have no idea which songs came when.

It isn’t the best story but I discovered New Found Glory in the summer of 2000 at a 4H sleep away camp. We were always listening to music in the cabins and I would later discover that my new obsession were the tracks from FTSTYS. Again, at the time, I didn’t know this and when I got home from camp my dad took me to Tower Records and bought Nothing Gold Can Stay. While I was initially disappointed that those songs I had been listening to weren’t there I quickly got over it and have been a fan ever since.

And I went home after school and immediately searched you guys online and fell in love with the band ever since.

The show where viewers can call in and vote for which music video played next out of the three that were listed on the side of the screen while another video played. I forget the music video playing, but the viewers choice was between My Friend’s Over You, Eminem-Lose Yourself, and I forget the other song. We sooo badly wanted Lose Yourself to win, and I remember us both being upset when it didn’t lol. We decided to keep the show on and listen to this New Found Glory band. We instantly fell in love with the song! The next day, we asked our mom to purchase the album for us. Then Catalyst when it came out the following year! My first time seeing New Found Glory live, was August 2004 at Warped Tour! Love you guys!!

It’s a tell tale of heart in the winter of 95. Defeated, I was just passing time listening to the broken sound of my Sony Walkman. My friend from Pennsylvania gave me a blue stare saying it never snows in Florida. Realizing that fate is made never sometimes, I followed my 2s and 3s and went for it, like it was 3rd and long. It could’ve been hit or miss, but lucky for us, we never sang our goodbye song. But really, bought the self titled after they opened for blink with midtown.

The first time I heard about New Found Glory was in 2001. I was a 7th grader at Cupertino Middle School in the San Francisco Bay Area. I was introduced to Nothing Gold Can Stay through three of my friends at the time. I was already exploring the pop punk scene through bands like Good Charlotte & SR-71. Shortly after hearing about them, my mom and I took a weekend trip to San Francisco and we stopped at the Serra Monte mall. My mom took me to (probably) Sam Goody and bought me the self-titled album and another CD. I was absolutely OBSESSED and have stayed that way. I've seen these dudes live 30+, have the band named tattooed on me (done by Jordan Pundik himself back in 2013) and I went on both Parahoy cruises mostly to be on a cruise ship with my favorite band. NFG for life!

As a 42 yr old. I was a sxe hardcore kid growing up and didn't care for a lot of the cheesey pop punk bands. But the firsr time I herd hit or miss in 99 I was hooked. Nothing gold can stay would be mixed into my play list with unbroken, mouthpiece, gorilla biscuits, 10 yrd fight and so on. Thanks guys for 20 plus yrs of great music and staying true to yourselves. 2000, I was a 14 year old freshman in high school. I was at a friends house when she played me a song off of the Self-Titled album. I was really into Greenday and Blink-182, and she thought it was right up my alley. She played me “Sincerely Me.” She was right. I went and tracked down It’s All About the Girls and Nothing Gold Can Stay within a week. We formed our own garage band and one of the first songs I taught myself on the bass was “Sincerely Me”. (We were terrible and only able to play “Brainstew” collectively and legibly as a group, but NFG inspired us to play and use music as an outlet).
I’ve been a fan of every song and every album since that day. NFG has been a part of my life for the last 20 years. Whatever mood or situation I find myself in, there’s a song for that.
I first heard about nfg in around 2002 the time sticks and stones come out. Listening to them and simple plan got me through my art gcse exam. So thankful we were allowed cd players in there. My love for them has just continued to grow. Seen then multiple times live and have a cd collection they would be proud of. Everyone who knows me personally knows how much I love those guys. I cant ever thank them enough for sonny either. My favorite song and great lyrics. Also got the words tattood down my side in memory of my grandad. Pictures fade away but memory is forever ❤
I vividly remember the first time I heard the words “New Found Glory” in 2001 when I was 17. I was at my then-boyfriend’s house when his friend brought us our tickets to the Blink-182 concert we were all going to. My bf and I had different musical preferences and Blink was the only band we could agree on at the time. His friend said that the opening bands would be New Found Glory and Midtown. At the concert in Nashville, my bf sang along to “Hit or Miss” and I was surprised he knew the song. I really enjoyed their performance and after the concert the Self-Titled CD stayed on repeat. My relationship with my high school boyfriend didn’t last but my love for New Found Glory certainly has! Almost 20 years since I first heard of them and those years have been full of so many great memories with my favorite band. New Found Glory has been so good to me and so good for me and I will happily support them until the day I die.

I remember being 7 about to turn 8 when Sticks and Stones first came out. My dad took my brother and I to the store with him and bought it then on the ride home I heard understatement and it blew me away. I became obsessed with the cd immediately and never stopped. Music started to take over my life when I found out about NFG because it hit something in me I'd never felt before. Fast forward 18 years and nothing has changed!
Saw them at the first Unitarian Church in Philly in 99. Is still my favorite show of all time.
I was 14 and on a 4H trip with my older brother (who I looked up to so hard) and grandma. We were traveling through NYC the year after 9/11 and Ground Zero was essentially a big black plastic tarp surrounded by a big fence. I remember this because being from Oklahoma the gravity of the explosions hadn’t really registered until then. Additionally there was a girl on the trip who had picked me as her target of ridicule. She had me crying nearly everyday. My brother was really into Pop Punk and Sticks and Stones has just released. He got it just before the trip. He saw how sad I was and leant me his CD Walkman with S&S in it. And that was it for me, I never gave the Walkman back the whole rest of the trip and like 20 batteries later (this was a road trip). Sticks and Stones saved me from some seriously mean people back in the day. I was sucked in from that moment on. NFG has been my fav band since that trip, I’m nearly 32 now.
When I was turning 15 my cousin was interviewing y’all at Warped Tour (I think) and asked Jordan to call me. True to form I was shopping at Hot Topic and missed the phone call. Whatever though because J left me an amazing voice mail that had me crying in the middle of the store, something to the affect of “hey kimber! Your cousin tells me it’s your birthday! I hope it kicks ass and hopefully your legal now!” As you can imagine this was the best bday gift I could’ve ever asked for.
And theeennnnn around my 16th birthday my best friend passed away and Catalyst came out. Again, y’all came thru and kept me safe and sane. I’ll never forget what this band has done for me in terms of keeping me happy when the times are real low. Forever and always my dudes.

The first song I heard from NFG was “my friends over you” on mtv. I was fighting with my girlfriend at the time about how I spend too much time with my friends. I was 16 lol. When I heard the lyrics, I was like. “F*#k yeah” and never looked back. I went back and bought the albums before “sticks and stones” and have listened to them religiously since then. Literally.
Man, Morrisey's missing brother is killing it.
I remember more than 20 years ago when the first album dropped. They definitely embodied everything that pop punk should be, in my opinion. And to STILL be pumping out bangers two decades down the road without majorly changing their sound is pretty legendary. I can't think of any bands save for Muse that haven't significantly modified their true tone and kept selling records at the same pace. Glad these guys are back again.

A friend lent me the CD of the self title and just listening to it once seemed so incredible that I put it on repeat a few more times. I can't remember the first time I heard NFG but I saw them at Club Q at least once so it's been a while. My favorite NFG story though is I found out a girl I liked was into them. So when Sticks and Stones came out, I skipped first period and went to Camelot Music (I think it was Camelot. It was whatever turned into FYE) and bought two copies. I got back to school and gave her a copy. She hugged me told me she would call me after school and I never heard from her again. Great video guys! 🤘

I first heard New Found Glory while working in the mail room at a newspaper in Quincy, IL in 2000. A kid working next to me handed me his discman and it had "From the screen to your stereo" playing and I was hooked and that dude turned into one of my best buds!

I was in junior high just getting into skateboarding. My friends and I would always trade CDs with each other to burn. We had a new kid start recently and he brought Nothing Gold Can Stay for us to rip (sorry). When I put that CD in my mom’s car, it changed the game. It became the soundtrack to my youth. Eventually I bought the self-titled album and it spiralled into me wanting to learn bass. I’d jam along to Sincerely Me and All About Her in my room for hours on end.
New found glory was one of the first bands I got into. I saw you guys on tour with blink 182 and midtown. In Denver Colorado fiddlers green. I fell in love and you guys have been my favorite band ever since. I got the self titled album and listened to it on repeat. I am now 33 years old and I have been to every show in Denver since and I am always in the front row screaming my lungs out! My bf says he has never seen someone love a band as much as I love NFG. Partied in my living room for the live stream. My dad took me to that show at fiddlers green and has seen you a handful of times. More in the early years because I wasn’t old enough to drive! I invited him over for the live stream, it was more his style to sit on the couch and watch. He thought it was great! Can’t wait until you guys get back on the road! New album RULES! My first introduction to Pop Punk was New Found Glory back in 2004 on my first date with a friend from school who was home from the Army on a two week leave. I was hooked from that day on -to both NFG and the guy. We've been together over 15 years, married 12, and have a beautiful life we share together with our 4 year old daughter. We're still huge fans and love going to shows (our last 2 were cancelled so we can't wait til the next show.) Keep going strong guys!
First time I heard NFG was my freshman year in high school. "My Friends Over You" was just released and was one of the songs that was played in the hallways in the morning. I got Sticks and Stones that year. My most memorable song is actually All Downhill From Here, when it came out in 2004. I remember watching the MV on MTV (the good old days) during the summer, and listened to Catalyst for the whole year. It was the first time I had an album that I enjoyed every song! I was hoping to catch you guys in Portland, OR on tour this summer. I hope you come back to the PNW soon! You're on my list of "must see" concerts!

It was in 2000. My boyfriend at the time was a bass player and was obsessed with learning to play the opening from Sincerly Me. As we listened to the song (and album) on repeat, I became hooked on NFG. By the time Sticks and Stones was released we weren't together anymore. It is safe to say 20 years later that NFG is a love that will last a lifetime.
The first NFG album I ever heard was sticks and stones. I was trying to get into punk music cause the biblical hymns at school just weren't doing it for me...a friend had the aforementioned CD so I asked my mom if I could get a copy at Walmart. I liked it a lot. My Friends Over You was awesome. Understatement was awesome. Something I Call Personality awesome. Next day at school the same friend said NFG were "gay" and sounded like girls. I felt embarrassed and stupid. Didn't rly dive further into that sound until a few years ago when I met a girl who was the only other person I met who liked pop punk. She also liked NFG and I felt reunited and vindicated. I found a lot of NFG songs I would have otherwise missed. Makes Me Sick slaps. Hit or Miss is near and dear to my heart now bc it was her ringtone for the longest time. We're married now and have seen NFG live alongside Bayside and William Ryan Key. Have two wonderful boys and an amazing life together.

The same thing happened to me, 10 years ago when I was 15 all of my friends gave me a hard time because I only played pop punk songs at hangouts. After a while I even got the nickname blink 182 lol. I even tried to get my friends to start a pop punk band and play and write pop punk songs, since I supported all of their 70s and 80s rock/50s and 60s blues/80s metal and 2000s death metal/acoustic rock and mid 2000s soft rock, and solo rock projects. But nobody wanted to support my pop punk project and I was the only bassist in town. I figured it was better to be playing with someone than in my room alone so I just suck it up. They used to tell me to turn my beloved pop punk music down or off, and back in the day I did because they would make fun of me and the music I loved. Nowadays if someone tells me to turn it off or down or makes fun of me for being 26 and listening to pop punk, I turn that shit up 🤙
Summer 2000, 19yo, a good friend of mine brought and presented me some of his cd's at a barbecue party. One of them was the self titled New Found Glory album ... been on all my music playing devices ever since...
I remember first time I heard NFG I was 13, and I bumped into 'My Friends Over You' on Mtv.
What really stuck with me (super catchy tune apart) was Chad doing the sXe gesture cause, to give some context, at the time I was struggling with depression and lost my father few years priors, which was an alcoholic; so despite grewing up as a pretty silent and shy kid, I ended up blastered in my early teens and I felt like punk rock music really pulled the right strings with me. Discovering about straight edge and getting totally absorbed by it given the shit I had to go through my father's struggles just felt natural to me. But there was no straight edge covering not even on Mtv, which at the time was pretty cool with all the Blink182 and punk rock overall exposure, and all I could get was some crappy Youth of Today tapes mastered by the older brother of one of my classmates. Internet wasn't even an option back then, we were broke af.
From that moment on, I always had a soft spot for NFG, even tho here in Europe it's never been easy to see them live.
Now I'm my 30s, I went some shit back then but I'm almost 10 years clean, and still defending pop punk ;)

I remember my big brother coming back with the nothing can stay gold album the day of release in the UK. Telling me to have a listen I was hooked instantly. He used to play it in the garage n tried to teach me how to play guitar. I'm 27 now and still love it like the day I first heard it.
Pretty sure the 1st time I ever heard NFG was through Tom Delonge's impression of Jordan singing 'Boy Crazy' on Urethra Chronicles II - followed immediately by a clip of Mark performing 'Sincerely Me' with them. Blink definitely put NFG on the spotlight back then.

In 2002 I was at a beach house in North Carolina with a group of friends. The TV was playing music videos and “my friends over you” came on. Loved that song and video and started listening to NFG ever since.

My most memorable earliest moment of New Found Glory was summer of 2002. My parents picked me up from middle school band camp at GCSU (Georgia). It had been my birthday while away so when my parents arrived, they brought a couple birthday presents in the car. The present I was most excited about was Sticks and Stones. I listened to that cd on my personal cd player nonstop during the 3 hour trip home. I listened to that album a few days ago and still remember all the words. Thank you!
Laying on my Girlfriend's bedroom floor, bout 3am. We had one of the warped tour CDs playing. Could NOT work up the courage to kiss her. Hit or Miss came on, so when I sang to her, "Have I waited too long? Have I found that someone?" She said, "Kiss me." When the kiss was over she smiled and said, "I think we both just found that someone!"

My sister and I got an old CD player when our older sister moved out and a copy of Stick & Stones was stuck in one of the CD slots and we would listen to it almost every day. To this day, it’s our favorite record to listen to together.
First time i heard new found glory was back when the PS2 game “Burnout 3 Takedown” came out, i was playing it and then all the sudden the song “At Least i’m Known For Something ” playing on the game radio, i legit i stopped the car so i can clearly listen to the song 😄 after that i listen to every record you guys made 🙌
That game legit got me into Pop-punk. Even though I used to listen to Simple Plan before that.
But damn, those memories are coming back now.
Me and my gfs song, the stuff NFG glory sung about in this song, reminded me alot her and our relationship, so I showed her this song, she called it our song, and she fell in love with this song and this band, thank you NFG for this brilliant masterpiece!

I first heard you guys when I stumbled upon my friends over you in 2002 when I was 12 and I was obsessed! I then bought the Drive-thru records DVD and the story so far one and would watch them every single day. I got my sisters saying "and why are we in the ocean? It is because... we are trying to finddd... lost fishes." for years because of that DVD haha. My first rock show was the Honda civic tour with NFG, MXPX, and Good Charlotte in 2003, I was 13. Then the first show I went to with my boyfriend was seeing NFG together, we got matching tattoos so when vicious love came out it really resonated with us. We're still going strong 8 years later. He's made it a tradition to buy me every new NFG album when they came out including this latest one. You can say NFG has been a staple in our relationship and so many other amazing memories in my life, it makes me so happy🥺 I am now 30 years old and you guys are still one of my favorites ever!🖤

My buddy introduced me to Hit or Miss in 2000 and I played it a lot. Saw you open for Blink on Sep 1 2001 and was hooked. 16 years later your Makes Me Sick Album got me through a deployment. The best part was thanking you in person when I met you during a meet n greet.
It was 2007 and a boy I liked played the “Kiss me” cover for my best friend, but I loved the song so much I made my mom pick me up because I was sad and we went out to Hastings and she bought me Catalyst and From the screen to your stereo part 2 🖤

The first time I heard NFG was in my senior year of high school; I was just getting into the whole pop punk and alternative music scene... a few friends introduced me to some bands and NFG was one of them, soon after I ordered a bunch of CDs using the Columbia music CD club (who remembers this? Buy one for a penny and get 10 free lol). The self titled album was one of the cds I ordered and I immediately fell in love and never looked back. The song’s were so relatable and fun and helped take me from a sad and dark place to a more positive one in those moments. Shortly after I got sticks and stones and knew I was a forever fan. 19 years later and Countless memories I will forever cherish. I love you guys and thank you for the music you make. 🖤

I heard 10 seconds of this incredible song while watching “American pie 2” in the movie theater. I immediately went out and bought the soundtrack to try and find the song, but Unfortunately the song was not included on the soundtrack, and I was pretty disappointed; never watched the movie again for a while so I forgot the exact riff, just knew there was a jam in the movie that had immediately caught my attention. In the meantime I found NFG through my brother after that and listened ever since. Years later, I got around to revisiting American pie 2, just to see if I could recognize that song I loved for a few seconds from the movie, and realized “Holy sh**, that’s ‘Hit or Miss’. I’ve had it all this time.”

The first time I ever heard New Found Glory was in 2010. I went to the Scranton Vans Warped Tour and got a sampler CD from Epitaph Records and “Truck Stop Blues” was on it. It reeled me right in and now New Found Glory is one of my all time favorite bands. NFG Forever 🤘🏻

My favorite pop punk band
It was Summer 2003, went to the mall with my cousins and my mom gave me $20 to spend. I remember i had just gotten into Good Charlotte during 8th grade and saw that NFG had played with GC at a festival and thought I had to check you guys out. My parents rarely gave me money to spend so I had to spend my money wisely. I was going through the “rock” section at my local FYE store and came across the “Sticks and Stones” album and remember loving the art work. ( I also bought my first MXPX album and falling in love with Pop Punk music) Through out the bus drive to my house I opened the cd up and constantly flipped through the booklet and I was just anxiously waiting till I got home to listen to it on my CD player. As soon as I heard “Understatement” I fell in love with you guys and played that album for MONTHS! S&S will always be one of my favorite records, and it will always hold a special place in my heart. Even after 17 years, I can still listen to that record none stop. It has gotten me through so much through out the years that I really don’t have the words to explain how thankful I am to have such an amazing record. They are songs that just stick to me forever, like Sonny always reminds me of my grandmother and how it help me get through her passing in 2015, and The Story So Far... reminds me of lost love but how I should just be true to myself and let the world do it’s thing. Both those songs make me cry. But I love them to death. And to be completely honest “Forever And Ever x Infinity” reminds me a lot of S&S. I’ve had it on replay since it dropped. I love you guys, thanks for making such amazing music and for filling my life with so many great memories and connecting to so many amazing NFG fans. Can’t wait to see you guys play a live again. Summer 2001 on the first ever Honda Civic Tour headlined by Blink-182. You were supporting them with Alkaline Trio. I had just turned 15 and was entering my Freshmen year in high school. I was there to see Blink and had never heard of you guys. I'm ashamed to admit, I blew you off and never even paid attention, as I just wanted Blink to come on stage. Fast forward a year later and a day after my 16th birthday, I was anxiously awaiting the release of Sticks and Stones. You have been my favorite band for over 18 years now and gotten me through many highs and lows in life. Fortunately, I had the chance to redeem myself for not paying attention the first chance I had to see you. I have now been to over a dozen NFG shows in the past 10 years! I could say this could be an anthem of teen's who fell inlove and will be a classic pop punk love song that will be part of each and everyone's story to their kids if this song was written on the 90's & early 2000's.

When I was in junior high my dad got me an iPod but at that time I wasn't big into music. One of my friends took it to put music on it for me and new found glory was one of the bands. I instantly fell in love. I have kids now and new found glory is one of their favorite bands on our morning music play list.
I remember the first time I heard a New Found Glory song... it was 2005 and I was at the roller rink. My crush worked there and he was DJ’ing that night. He played “I Don’t Wanna Know” and I was curious who sang it so I asked him about the song later that night. It turned out that New Found Glory was his favorite band. It was ‘99. Rosko (an older friend of mine who provided us all the “new” punk and emo stuff he discovered) brought us a musicassette of “Nothing Gold Can Stay”. That summer I went inter-railing Europe and kept NFG in my Walkman all the time. I’m 38 now, and still listen to your music (also with my kids)!
Discovered you guys around the self titled era. My friend shown me Vegas and Dressed to Kill and I was hooked. 20 years, 50+ shows and numerous tattoos later im still here. Forever.

21 years later, I have not missed a show. Traveled 8 hours to Lancaster. PA in 2004 to see you play and met Ian this past December at a Panthers game. Now living in Florida, I love that I get to see you play every year (minus 2020-did watch the Song a thon!).
