It’s obvious the wildlife officers have cultivated a good relationship with the villages. The villagers are reporting problem elephants rather than trapping/killing them on their own, so that means they trust that the officers will take action to ensure their safety and livelihoods. It’s a win-win situation and you can’t get any better than that.
It is a danger to the people of the villages. Maybe they will release it at an ellie preserve or to an area where there are no villages around. It has to be moved.

And there are so many men that stand around and watch and then scream instructions. Moving an elephant is a spectacle. All those men... they must not have much faith in women.
