Wow! Talking about "The Light Finally Came On" video…
It's the most concise video that I have seen that explains the actual difference between what the GN is and Flash-To-Subject Distance; and specifically how to apply the Table that are listed in the Speedlight Manuals…
I am truly learning some good photography stuff from your videos…Thank You!
    Cheers Spyros!

+Spyros Heniadis Then how do you compensate for ISO 200, 400, 800 in order to use the Guide Number? When I am indoor, I would not use an ISO less than 400 as a rule of thumb? A 100 ISO number is typically the equivalent of film 100 ASA…That is where this standard came from since back in the day, we used to use Outdoor Daylight ASA100 and indoor and at night we used to use ASA400 and up...

I have a question: if the GN decreases, should we decrease it with zoom or flash so that the GN remains the same if the zoom is changed?

    Hi spyros.. wonderful explanation.
I do have one doubt... I own fuji x100s. Should i buy ef-x20 which is having a guide number 20 m at ISO 100. Is it sufficient to light most situations ? I am considering this because of size and how it looks on fuji x100s .. Rest big flashes look weird .
I feel since this camera has fixed 35mm lens equivalent.. We don't normally take pictures from really long distance right..?
