Planet Yardrat, a planet known for its instant transmission and powerful ki users, welcomes Kakarot as one of their own. On day, while Goku trains with his master Pybara he is teleported from his home and into the greatest adventure of all time!! How will this change the course of Dragon Ball history!?

I loved being able to see the Namekian challenges. The whole thing was like OG Dragon Ball but in space, which is extremely charming

These trials remind me of the kind of stuff that would happen in early Dragonball, it's perfect.

Honestly, this one is amazing - extremely well written, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of it.
This was very cool. I could particularly see the Namek section of it as a typical DragonBall arc. It'd be similar to the Black Star DragonBall arc in GT. Especially at the end with the tease of SSJ.

I guess you could call this episode Goku's grand tour
Pls bring spririt control into it as well. A Goku with proper spirit control training would be insanely strong, as seen when Vegeta got some time to do so himself. DIfferent techniques could be mastered over time and his sheer ki efficiency and effectiveness would actually be something else just by the end of DBZ, similar to Jiren :D

Oh, remaking this idea, huh, nice. 👍 I really enjoyed Goku using Instant Transmission to visit different places like Planet Cereal & Planet Namek, although the downside with this is Planet Yardrat is now on Frieza's radar way earlier here. 😬 My favorite part was Goku going through the trial to obtain the Dragon Balls on Namek. 🙂 Anyways another good start to this new series, and looking forward to the next part soon.
