Great opening. I’m curious to see if this TCG will last and I’m also very curious to see how the secondary market will develop.
I'm gonna wait till the box stores get them. I can't and wont pay those insane inflated prices at the LGS. The artwork is nice and I'm glad the text area isn't filled with artwork rendering the card difficult to read. I hope to try the game out as well to see if it's any fun.

Warning ! Cause that's not the first time Disney try to make à TCG. A game named Wizards of Mickey, a name like that, was released like 15 years ago, and it didn't work at all.

I’m right there with you. My LGSs are pricing at $10-13 for packs and $250-300 for boxes. Hard pass!

These cards seem quite similar to MTG cards but with Disney characters…
I don’t know how you did it. I tried tracking down just a few starters for my kid and I to try, and they just aren’t available. (Especially not at msrp). I will come back to it in a few weeks, but this may just be the dissuasion necessary for me to pass on the product all together.
Contacted my LGS as soon as they made a post about Lorcana. There was nothing left by the time I got there!
Want to collect this series, art is great and the gameplay looks fun but jeezus the prices are crazy. Is disney not doing an MSRP? Wish wizards would bring it back for magic. My lgs is being forced to charge more now that his supplier is increasing prices. So stupid.
Everyone is charging over MSRP right now since the supply is so tight. Prices should drop significantly later next month when the set hits wide release.
I was curious if there was gonna be like cool full art cards like Pokémon of the characters. Kinda disappointed with the indifference for the rare cards and holos

Second Chapter comes out at the end of November. And what an amazing box! You got two boxes worth of value out of that! Definitely more legendaries and super-rares than normal, and you got the most valuable card in the set too!

Just learning about the game, which ones are the most valuable?
Most valuable are Enchanted rarity, followed by Legendary: shop.tcgplayer.com/price-guide/lorcana-tcg
Belle, Strange but Special. Elsa, Spirit of Winter. Rapunzel, Gifted with Healing. I believe those three are the most desireable legendaries, currently. Elsa's amazing for control, Belle's an amazing lore monster to push you over the top, and Rapunzel is amazing card draw. @@FenderLesPaul1989 💛
TCGplayer's prices are a lot higher than what a lot of stores are selling the cards for. I know I was able to order some singles for about a third of what they're charging.@@MTGUnpacked

Kinda seems crap, a cartoon animation company turns out art that looks worse than the kids books from the early 90's
WHYYYYYY! Theres a few of my magic friends getting into this and I'm like come on man this is clearly for kids. I mean sure get some first gen cards on the off chance in a few years you've got yourself a black lotus type situation but the game looks so boring
Maybe they're Disney fans? Never want to play card games with your kids?
Nothing about this game makes me want to play it, and it being a Disney product makes me even less interested.
