I'm giving you the "Best Haircut" award of 2021!! This haircut is the most balanced, leaves the most length, and has lots of life and face-framing layers!
I’m pretty impressed with how good my hair looks! Thank you for sharing such an easy to follow tutorial. I moved away from my stylist, who specializes in shags and I hadn’t yet found another one, so I decided to give it a try on my own! Thank you for guiding me!
Looooved this tutorial! I always would ask diferent stylist for this haircut and they never got it right. I decided to do it myself and am very glad I did. It was easy to follow and my hair looks great. :D
Wow thank you so much for this video. I've cut mine and my sisters hair (wigs and our own hair) for a few years, but rarely anything as intense as going from long long hair to a wolf shag like this, but i followed your video to the letter on my sister and she's ecstatic with how it turned out. Such an easy to follow tutorial and we got what looks like a $200 haircut for free. THANK YOU!
my friend cut my hair this style in july, and she did an amazing job on it. probably my favorite haircut in ages. but she died in late august, and i haven’t been able to bring myself to allow anyone else to cut it. i’ve decided that i’ll be doing it myself so thank you for this tutorial 💕
I just discovered this style again after having it in the 80s when I was 18/19....also having spiral perms too....who remembers them?....hairstyle do come back around full circle....Great vid, loved the style in the end!!
I have very thick hair and I appreciate how he made it into 4 sections. This is my go to look only because I have such thick hair and the layering makes it lightweight and less thic! Thank you!
This is so beautiful! Back in 80s I had this cut over perm and I actually cut it myself but not from scratch - I had it done over shag cut that was done at the salon. It looked so cool with leftover perm on my hair. I'm so glad it is back in style. Time to return to my youth 😊 Thank you for the excellent video!
I am a BARBER and I get more teenage boys wanting this kind of cut but I’m such a “fades and shaves” type barber and I wish I was better at this cut. Thanks for sharing
This was a really good - I have a short forehead and heavy hair, so I keep bangs to keep hair out of my face but I tend to trim my bangs too chunky. I didn't know I could layer them. This whole haircut takes lots of weight off my head and keeps it out of my face :)
I want this Dude to cute my hair..🙏🥰 I haven't found anyone that does this parting off as he does🤔 thats the way i was tought .. I use to cute my hair like this when i was a teen and did my sister also.. I Love his hair cute techniques...💓 Thanks for making me so envious of the mannequin....🤗🤯🥰
Does anyone in the Northern Denver/Boulder area know how to do this haircut? I can't seem to find anyone. lots of people say that they can but it's not at all like this.
This is how I want my hair cutting. Went to salon n they put in a fringe and spent 40 mins straightening my hair. No layers. Looks like a 5 yr old s hair cut. So disappointed. Wish I could find a stylist who could do this for me in northants uk.
That’s a shame jump on Facebook and have a look in your area at salon reviews. It’s a trending cut so I’m sure lots of salons are getting ask for it. 😃
Muy bueno el video. Pienso que sería mejor ver diagramar es universal. No todos entendemos Inglés. Gracias por tomarse el tiempo en ayudar a todos los estilistas
@@cheeriototoro8063 Right. I see that. Maybe I worded it wrong. What I meant was, I dont understand the method on HOW TO point cut. So when I see ppl doing it, it just looks as if they are just cutting away at the bang with no rhyme or reason or technique. Just, snip snip snip. Other cuts has rules. Like elevation, 0°, and so forth. But i dont understand how to point cut. If that makes sense😬
@@Deikoka just point your shears directly into the hair. If you’re holding your section so that you can see your guide or the straight line/edge of the cut, point your shears into the edge of it and snip snip snip. It’s very simple, don’t over think it too much 💖

You posted chunky highlights,2 wolf cut videos in a row, well done on keeping up with the trends these are really helpful 😊😊😁
Back in the 70s this haircut was called the Gypsy. It's a pretty style that is flattering on almost everyone.
i.e. the stevie💜

I had never cut my own hair before and I tried this tutorial except i did curtain bangs! Super informative and clear. Thank you so much!
This has just become my favorite TH-cam channel ever! I know I’m late, but, OMG! Love it!

You’re a great teacher. Thanks so much for this video, I needed a good refresher ❤️
I’m glad you liked it thank you 😃
I can honestly say this is one of the best hair cutting tutorials - thank you so much 🙌
Thanks a lot. This is really nice hair cut. I've tried it on my daughter hair
I was wondering if this would still look good with a longer fringe because I don’t look good in short bangs
why are you showing me this at almost 12 AM??? now I have to do it
Me encanta!! Ninguna estilista logra este corte conmigo 😢
Just saw your video. Instant subscriber! You really break down each step and show the variables. Thank you so much 💞
Another great video, thanks Chris.🙂
can you do a video on how to get the old cut on longer hair ?
i wish i saw this befor i cut my bangs WAY to short..

When you call for an appointment, maybe ask if you can email this ahead of time?
Tank u dude, I’m going to do it to my children!
My hair is curly and long can i cut it ?
Thank you love that hair cut 👍🏼😌
Hiiiiii very informative video i was wondering if it was possible to have this done on a person who has long hair with side undercut
Yes just ignore side cut and leave it disconnected 😃
Love the bangs
This is beautiful. 💕
Here it is 2024 and I am all about this haircut
Amazing cut . 5*****
Thank you so much
I need to know where to find the “diy” video he said he did and was going to link. I can’t find it 😞
Isn’t this similar to the gypsy cut? Thank you nice tutorial
ugh i wish i saw this before accidentally cutting my super long hair short by trying to do a wolf cut
Hi, is it easier to do this with wet hair or will it work with dry hair as well? And is it possible to do it on yourself? Thank you!
I did it on myself just now, and it didn't come out nearly as cute, but it's not horrible looking either

Best I've seen
I have thick straight and frizzy hair and I want to cut my hair like this but I am afraid it will not suit me. Thoughts on this?
I just tried it I think it looked good on me (i do have frizzy thick hair btw)
Love it.
Lovely

This mannequin looks so much like Jenny Lewis
It’s mullet not a wolf haircut 🙈🙉🙊 some bored person called it and now everyone repeating.
Can you do a tutorial on Savannah Outen's layered hair and curtain bangs please? Like in this video--> th-cam.com/video/ly1XVkBv3XY/w-d-xo.html
I dont care what you call it. That is a 70s shag cut!!!!
Not exactly the 2023 version, more like Jane Fonda in klute..a movie,or spiral tap, the band members..
You cant do this by your self ...
M sorry but i tried it nd it s not good i ruined my hair it s waay too thick in the front cuz u take sm hair
I really dont understand point cutting. It's no rhyme or reason to it. 😫 I will have to watch more videos on point cutting
It helps not give such a blunt and “liney” look. It gives it a more natural vibe :)
