I got the yellow one in November works really good only changed the gear and engine oil haven't done anything else yet goes 50-55mph pretty easy... usually only go 45ish on it
Michael Suzio I received mine in November as well (2019)... with the right modifications you could get yours to go about 70mph, if not faster. The easiest modification I recommend is a performance CDI. I’ll increase your top speed to a steady 60-65mph.

It should be located under the seat and off to the side, its a little black box. You’ll know exactly what I’m talking about if you do a quick TH-cam search.
@@micahroller ok I'll look at it tommorow I opened the Air Filter to look at it...says to clean it every 500km or 1000km...looked fine so I put it back
@@micahroller my Cat likes to sit on the seat it scratched the seat a little bit I put an old shirt on the seat so it's claws don't rip the seat apart
Thank you for the video. Alot of good information. I need up installing the same mirrors you have on yours. My mirrors still move when riding and the bolt is screwed down tight as it can go. Does yours do that? Is there another option that I can do to secure the mirrors down

Hey man great video. I was wondering if you had any problems with the headlight flickering when you upgraded. Theys reviews online saying they do. Thought I'd ask before I bought the same. Thanks
So if you were to use LED headlights on any old model with a AC Stator (alternator), yes they would flicker but since the newer models have DC alternators (like mine) you should be fine. What I did was just rewire the headlights into the daytime running lights with a switch so i could just avoid that whole problem.

Definitely a 10mm socket lol... but honestly a basic set of home tools like a socket kit and a screwdriver should get you a long way:)

Awesome my friend nice setup, have a 2014 & 2019 they run like tops just keep an eye out for for loose exhaust bolts . I added voltage meter with USB ports & a digital tach . @@micahroller Thanks for sharing the link's! Cool little upgrade!! I bought was a trail tech tach & a aluminum dual USB port ( Voltage meter ) worth the $ helps keep track of your voltage regulator . If you need any of the link's or have any ? Let me know awesome scooter, you will have a blast, I'm in Ohio, riding season is over for me ! My blk & yellow 2014 has 19.k . My blk & Red 2019 has 21 miles LOL had major shipping damages but they made it right 4 months waiting on parts ( backorder's) LOL.
@@micahrollerok I bought the mirrors & no instructions, but I'm use to that got the LED Headlight's people is telling me they will blow with the stock headlight lum' !? due I need to rewire the headlights in a different reconfiguration ( how did u due it ) appreciate the info bro
just 4 kicks So, yes I actually did rewire a lot of electronic in the front so I could have the switches work exactly the way i want. You will have to do some basic wiring for the led headlights, it’s not too hard. But for the actual headlight wiring, I changed that as well so when I had the bike off the lights could still be on with the key in the ignition of course. So i would change that just to be safe. I just connected the running day lights to the main headlights then connected a switch so i could turn the headlights on and off and still have my running day lights on.
@@micahroller appreciate the info ! Because I heard people trying to hook the Leds off the stock circuit & it blowing the LED immediately . I managed to wire the turn signal's, had to mount different to a shorter bolt & washer for them to even fit . I got a voltage meter on mine & at high Rpm the stator puts a healthy 13.6 to 14 volts so bro due u have a link on the switches & the blue racing CDI doesn't work on mine guess to new lol what I was told going to run my Led headlights of the ignition . I hate to have to rewire a new scooter might as well rewire the whole harness and upgrade the wiring !

The front tire on mine looked like someone stuck a knife in it twice. LED headlight bulbs a must have. Comes with bulbs that are very dim at idle. 896 delivered from Q9powersports. Very pleased with mine. Where did you get the alarm system? Remote start doesn't work with one I bought and lights don't flash.

Did you order this scooter “fully assembled”? Or not? I ordered the fully assembled model and I hope I don’t have to put on the tire or the handle bars. The one in ordered says it’s fully assembled and ready to ride
I actually did not order any extra add ons like, “fully assembled”, I have good skills putting things together and fixing them so I definitely opted out of spending that extra money and did everything myself. I can total say it was definitely worth it!!

65-70 but I wouldn't go that fast it's a Chinese scooter 50-55mph is a bit safer

Are you not scared that the bigger bore kit while giving you more power will reduce the lifespan of the engine or since it's a cheap engine you are perhaps thinking you can just replace it when the time comes and reinstall the bore kit or a new one?
Also how much speed does the bore kit add ?
You shouldnt be disappointed of that bike. That thing is pretty good. Mine is more beatup but it sounds really good and fast too.

I have read most every comment on here, and here are my questions for @Micah Roller and anyone else that can answer this, I see that @Micah Roller has a Tao Tao Quantum Tour 150CC Titan Model, He clams the stater is DC and that his CDI is DC, I have a Tao Tao Quantum Tour 150Cc Titan 2020 model, and my setup is full AC.. and I have a AC Adjustable Racing CDI (after market) and cranks up everytime. I did have to adjust the carb a little. I also want to know what you added to your after market rear view Mirrors to get them mounted on the stock mounting holes. (and yea your right. stock one are butt ugly) and I already have them same Mirrors havent put them on yet. someone mention something about the LED, since my system is AC will I have a problem with the mirrors or should they hook up just fine?

Phil Randy How long does the scooter last? Well if you keep it in good condition, oil changes every 1,000 miles, run it every so often so the gas doesn’t get old in ur carburetor for sitting too long, air filter changes, and cvt belt changes, then it should last a while i would say at least 10 years with normal use.

Hey brother, is there any chance you could upload or somehow send me a short video that shows the scoot with all the performance upgrades, how the new exhaust sounds, how it runs, and maybe a top speed/acceleration video. I know a lot of people are interested in this model particularly and there are not many videos showing 150cc performance in general. It would help a lot of people looking to buy these types of scooters.
I just bought one of these myself in yellow/black and I am looking for the type of phone mount you have, do you have a link?
I started out with an upgraded CDI, LED headlight, LED bluetooth lighting kit, trail tires, and two 12v cigarette lighter ports which I'll install below the seat one in the storage compartment and one face my legs - I did this one my 49cc and it is super useful on longer trips to help with the phone battery/navigation. I'll post videos soon, along with the road trip kit (tool roll, emergency shelter/food kit) It's amazing that with some planning and small upgrades this scooter can be used as a light trail runner and you can take it on a 5 day camping trip.
Between the storage under the seat, the included rear cargo box, a quality backpack. Then keep a 2 gallon gas tank and a 2.5 gallon bottle of water by your feet, you can go 265 miles in one sitting and you bring enough water for 3 days, not counting re-supply or using a water filter, and enough food for 7 days with no re-supply.
Being a single cylinder engine, if you bring the proper tool roll

Depending on your State anything over 50cc needs a class M endorsement.

Idk why you need a motorcycle license to ride a 150cc. Since it’s automatic it’s not like you have to switch gears or anything.
Swear to god . my wife bought me the same one . red and black. and all my lights did not and do not work. My kickstart is stuck jammed will not won't kickstart"" . paid every dime they asked for and this is how they did me.. Gas tank completely rusted"" on the inside . we spent money"""" on working to get it at least rideable.. It doesn't and didn't ever wonna idle and stay running """" yes acts like it wants to cut off at every stop . I feel hurt played . its wrong and it ain't nuthin I can do about it. So I've been very happy and appreciative for the fact she did something like this for me.... Yeah that was all our luck with THE QUANTUM TOUR..... Sad.. Just sad....
Nikkie Driver Sounds like a new carburetor would help your solution... maybe even a new engine, but try to look at your carburetor.
