Oh what’s up man! Funny seeing your comment because I just found your channel a few weeks ago and subscribed right away. But to answer your questions: 1) This format the hardest match up has to be either Runick/Naturia or Kashtira, it is tough to say which one is tougher but I would have to say more often it is Runik/naturia (both are very much against you). I lost to Swordsoul (basically never saw engine game 1 or 3, the match up is usually heavily in your favor). And I also lost to Tri-Brigade spright (in time like I say later in the comment, my fault) 2) Desires for a few reasons the raw card advantage and not loosing the misters from the extra. Prosp is an amazing card but in this deck you almost always banish 3 and treat it like upstart. And outside the first activation it is nearly impossible to resolve another copy and be in a winnable position due to the resources lost. I could go on because there was a substantial amount of thought into it because prosp is such a powerful card game2/3 which is arguably where it is hardest to play SS. 3) I lost exactly 1 game to time which was EXTREMELY frustrating, but that is on me as a player not holding my opponent accountable for playing at a reasonable pace and got sniped for time. But thanks for the comment man, I can discuss SS forever.

I was very frustrated during the deck building process because of the wide meta landscape. A deck who’s current strength lies in its ability to adapt to a meta, the more specific the better it becomes, this format is not my favorite.
I'm not a big fan of Lightning Storm, but I agree on backrow (ironically) being a challenge you need to overcome when playing this deck. I pretty much never find me wanting to use Lightning Storm on attack position monsters, so using Duster as the third Lightning Storm instead of as a "wasted" side deck slot feels preferable just because it's easier to bring out. Sucks that droplet is bad against Ariseheart, because that card is SUCH a good way to dump a bunch of spells quickly and set up a Widow Anchor steal out of nowhere. It's also a neat option to help deal with certain things like Nat Beast and crash evenly into 3k beaters with Hayate to set up an Evenly Matched to chain to Raye's Tribute effect at the end of a Battle Phase. Using Imperial Iron Wall to cut off banishes from Kashtira and Runick could be helpful when forced to go first against them, and turns Multirole into an infinite resource loop. It can also stop Smashers and Tri-Brigade too I guess. The biggest issue with it though is losing access to the Pots after flipping it up. All in all this seems like a fine decklist for a blind second build, the biggest issue with the deck right now is going first without relying on drawing Stun cards to not die, and of course that Engage is stuck at one to make toolboxing difficult without generic Deep Draw tools.
Everyone should include change of heart, it let's you get rid of a certain annoyance on the field while also giving you a plus for a synchro, xyz, or link its rare to use it for a fusion summon. It's literally a free monster unless your opponent can negate its effect, the monster on the field is unaffected by effects, or has an effect that keeps it from being targeted by effects.
I know people have been very curious to see the build and I would love to have a discussion on the thought process you went through for card choices and deck building for the event

I need my regular dose of copium to find the strength to keep going, the deck is in a better spot compared to fucking tearlament format but it is showing its age. Modern decks are getting stronger and even with Engage at 2 I feel like we would still struggle. Stuff like Purrely seem kinda unbeatable if you think about it…
Multirole is limited too, so no one is playing 2 haha. Solid list. I’ve liked kurikara over gamaciel. Bait the nat beast and Baronne and get a free 4500 body.
I just played against this deck 2 times and I can say it's the most powerful sky striker I have ever gone against. Super fast super powerful and was undefeated... Good job 🔥❤️

Additionally, which cards did you side out for specific side deck cards (e.g., cosmic cyclone) against certain decks (e.g., kashtira) you were facing? Amazing profile. You would make Donna off either 2 cards you steal or 1 of theirs + 1 of yours, then go C1 Donna > C2 Linkage, as Donna doesn't need to be on field to resolve.
I've been having a lot of success with a pankratops alpha master of beasts engine, the ability to pop naturia beast or anti spell with pankratops, the ability to non destruction non target removal cards and the funky ability to bounce the kaiju back to hand has felt so nice
What about cuting 1 kaiju for herald of the abyss ? It could be harsh against nat beast but it's 1 more spell in grave and could be searched with thrust.
It really does depend on a lot of factors. Like who won the dice roll, who won game one, do I think my opponents gonna make me go first or second. But I’d say going first against Branded is pretty solid because usually you can kill them especially if you do, do you DBarrier or floodgate them out, with ash. Kash I prefer going second game 3
Hardest deck was going against a witch crafter using secret village where you could not activate a spell, it absolutely pissed me off. I'm learning sky atm but main toons, which sky strikers do die easy to them. And playing strikers, I see why. Struggle with backrow decks

Ok so so i have some opinions on this: in my opinion this deck is a decent swiss deck up to a certain point and im gonna argue why, so i wanna hear your opinion. A ycs has lots of participants so its unreasonable to assume people will know about your deck for the first couple rounds, but if you try to do well and want to win, at some point you will be there for day 2 or even top. So here is the problem with this deck i have. If people know what you are playing, which they likely will since u will be the only striker player for top 64 or if u are at the top tables in swiss they also know, they will make u go first. And if i see your decklist, you just lose my bro going first. 3 lightning storm 2 afterburner 2 tactics 3 kaiju 1 talents 1 change of heart 12 cards that are only good going second. I guarantee you, you will lose in top cut just cause people know what you are playing. This is a fine regional deck but even there it has its problems. I scouted many people in regionals or got info from my friends about what my next opp is playing. What i think this deck should change is play less hard go 2nd cards. More cards that are goood 1st or second. I would advise for max 5-6 going second cards. Is the dark ruler no more a bad card for main? or evenly? Instead of imperm? I'm trying build striker but I cant choose, sometime darkruler is better sometime evenly and sometime imperm T-T
DRNM isn't bad at all! But if played, it should be as a going second build. The only downside from my experience is that after a boardwipe, I am unable to OTK. But still a good card if trying to out Naturia Beast.
Sorry, might be a stupid question but why are you running Gameciel? Doesn't sky striker have their own kaiju? What is the point of running Gameciel over their own?
Hamp requires you to have a striker monster on the field which is a commitment and requirement that you can’t always fulfill. It is also only searchable off of engage and area zero which are one ofs

Why not pot of averice instead? Being able to reuse your ace cards seems more valuable than taking a gamble on what you banish

With 1 engage HAMP is not good. It requires you to control a sky striker ace monster in order to summon it
How are you getting over big towers? Finding the ignister boss monster impossible
