- if you at any point feel the need/want to try out tutoring for A-level biology/chemistry/maths - feel free to contact me at:

welcome to the ultimate hub for a-level bio, chem and maths people!
I achieved A*A*A* in those subjects (2023) and i am dedicated to sharing all my wisdom and tricks of the trade with you guys.
what to expect from me:
teaching a-level biology exam technique - my exact method simplifying how to go about approaching and writing super-specific answers which guarantee you marks every time
tutorials - how to increase your grades, study methods, guides on achieving an A* and much more
these videos have worked for so so many students, so let them work for you too :)
so so so I HAVE AN IDEA...
starting this september I want to start running A-LEVEL BIOLOGY EXAM TECHNIQUE masterclasses on specific topics where I'll guide you step-by-step on how to approach, think through, and answer exam questions effectively in 1.5hr sessions. if this interests you see the link below for further information :)

I hope chemistry went well for you guys A/A* in bio/chem/maths
Use what you need, love you all and THANK YOU SO MUCH for all your guys support
ur actually carrying me through y12 atm!!
Standard deviation in maths is different to standard deviation in biology, however calculator gives you both standard deviations via table function , the biology one is given by "sx"
Do we get full marks for doing it in our calculators with no working? Let's say it's like 2 or 3 marks
@@Sxlanki._x usually correct answer is always full marks however what I recommend is doing it normally then checking with your calculator if you got it right?
They are completely the same. sx represents sample standard deviation which is majorly used in statistics
@@Josama0214 no they are not completely the same sir in maths you use sample size as n whereas in biology its n-1
@@ZeroWinz They are COMPLETELY the same. Sample Standard deviation is a concept in statistics not Biology. there are two standard deviations: Sample standard deviation represented by s and population standard deviation represented by lower case sigma. The population standard deviation, like the population mean is simply a model, you never know the exact value of it because you would have to sample the entire population which is almost impossible, that's why the sample standard deviation exists in order to see what the true population standard deviation may be
GOD BLESS YOU FR IM HERE AT 10:53 TRYNA ATLEAST GET MATHS MARKS IF I CANT GET CONTENT MARKS 💀💀💀💀
NAHHHH OMDS ahhh man the night is still young
Unfortunately the night is no longer young
trustt me like 💀💀 this vid was honestly a godsend u made null hypothesis freedom of degrees all of that understandable in 2 mins?? smt my maths teachers couldn’t explain in 2 years 🤦♀️ anyways ur channel is sick and since ur basically a student asw its js vibes ykk thanks a lotttttt
saving my a levels one video at a time fr
6:00 it does work, although in maths "little sigma-x" is standard deviation, and in biology "sx" is standard deviation (you have to scroll down to see sx). So just be careful
LIFESAVER thank you so much, saving bio x
Why am I finding such a great channel now ;-;
OMG YOURE LITERALLY THE BEST!
Thx queen you ate this video up!!
@@sanaraheelahmed3607 hehehe thanks :))))
unbelievably helpful THANK YOU!!!
omg you did it YAY!! tysm!!❤
All because of you 🥹🥹
11:55 isnt it the sum of p^2 and 2pq, because heterozygous can also roll their tongues
it says proportion of heterozygous individuals, p^2 is homozygous so we dont include it :) (I think)
You're such an icon ❤
hehe ;)
THANK YOU SO MUCH hate maths in bio😞
thank you soo much 🥰🥰
this is so helpful. how do we work out the dof for spearmans rank? thank you (:
2am last min revision lol oops
LMFAOOO TIFF??? 😭
@@hummus7742 HUMAIRAH good luck 😭😭😭😭😭
Shiiieeett wish I had this vid when I did Bio 😭😭😭Saves so much time
I WISH I HAD THIS VIDEO TOO😭😭
@@bioexamtech lol
are you gonna make a last minute tips videos for Paper 2
exam in 10 hrs 5 mins its 11 55 pm tysm
if ur given ttest formula is standard deviation given with it coz we need s.d in ttest
lmfao i always watch ur videos on 2x and it jus sounds so like normal like I've gotten used to it SO WHEN I PUT IT ON 1X IT FELT SO WEIRD
nooo literally this is how I feel listening to others too
Sorry why in hardy Weinberg did you have to add up 77 and 171 together first . Why can’t you just use 77=p^2 instead of 77/248=p^2
And number of pairs of data In spearman’s rank is that basically halting the number of data. E.g if there’s 12 data, there would 6 pairs of data please?
POV: you don’t know content so u tryna get maths marks 💀
So would d for spearman’s in your example be 10?
are you told how to calculate degrees of freedom in the Q or do we have to memorise that?
you aren’t given it
So for chi and student t test you do degrees of freedom but not for Spearmans?
I don't think I have ever seen them ask that icl
can this be applied to bio aqa paper 2 as well ?
ofc
Just to make sure, anyone know if all those equations provided?
yes they always are provided...I'm 99% certain
will you do a bio paper 2 vid?
of course!!!! coming tomorrow
@@bioexamtechyou are a lifesaver
