Just saw this man perform live with Aries. Saw him in the tour bus on the way to my car. I held up a peace sign and it was reciprocated, then I headed home. Just wanted to say brakence is a legend and the show was dope. Looking forward to the next concert/see ya in Portland.
This is awesome. Side note: I really love the self referencing kind of like meta narrative you got going on with talking about your career. It really breathes life into everything you say by bringing in the personal aspect of creating art and sharing it, hoping to make it your life. I also like the addition of the bouncier effect in your vocals. It makes a lot of sense for the style and topic, and since I’ve only just heard this, I don’t quite know why. It’s an amazing addition to your already amazing discography, and your one of the few artists I see has released something new, and I listen immediately because I am confident in your ability and quality. Good job man. I don’t know a lot about this, but to me the music video was so appealing, but the two other people and what they were wearing felt slightly immersion breaking. Maybe that was the point, but I think more subtly honestly could sent the message of like two environment breaking people. Like the uncanny valley where you can’t quite tell what’s wrong at first. Maybe a bit less mouth enhancing makeup, to where it’s just enough to put you off, and colors that are maybe a bit less stark. So like a strongly warm brown/orange/Idk I’m colorblind pallet could’ve been nicely broken up with like some cool or even warm grays instead of the stark black and feathers. Or maybe even like brighter more confusing and hard to read colors would make some sense too. Overall amazing job once again, and I can’t wait to see what you do in the future. Good luck, man
