" plant stuff, fishing like i feel like that's important " Yessir Brantley !! Grow your own food, hunt your own food if you can, and live off the land most you can!! Another great podcast show Tracy!! *Have a good'nnn*
If you’ve never heard “modern day prodigal son” “saving Amy” “indianas angel” “play me that song” “whenever we’re alone” “ the best of me” those are some of the best lyrics ever written
Tom & Adam are speaking Truth and are Waking Folks Up! I'm totally Country Music have been all my life but I have to give them credit for waking people up
There’s just some people I love in the country music world and Brantley is one of them. I just love listening to his stories, just one of them dudes that reminds me of a good buddy and could sit around and talk forever
We love Brantley Gilbert in our house. That is my wife’s man. I’ve taken her to see him every year since 2017, but 2023 was the first year we missed. Besides the first 2 shows, we have been right up front and in 2020 I won Husband of the year when I also bought her the flag meet and greet. Always a great show.
@@angelp.5224 I work full time and make a decent living. I also run a business reselling vintage clothing. We’ve just been concentrating on taking cruises. I do agree, just 2 years ago Brantley was still touring for the regular blue collar families and pit tickets (right by the stage) were only around $70 each. This year there isn’t a ticket for under a couple hundred dollars. I can afford it, but there is no artist out there that is worth more than $100 a ticket.
Listening to you 2 is like hanging out with buddies in one of our garages or sitting and chatting with coworkers at breaks, the conversations are exactly the same about the same topics! Awesome!!
Randy Rhoads was one guitar player that was just amazing back in the 80's before he died. That type of raw educated talent you rarely find ever. His reputation and work speaks for itself . Great show guys!!
Country music is the best genre more deep then drinking songs a lot of them comes from the heart and defines their life that is why I always love Brantley Gilbert
Happy to hear you talk so much about you wife that’s true love don’t ever let go of her 9 years is a very long time!!!!🎉❤ HAPPY ANNIVERSARY whenever it was God bless you, her and the children!!🧒 😊
Love you since the 80s @TracyLawrence Love you're music BG. Retired RN 40 yrs. 2 worse things we have in the US , imo, is our healthcare sucks and people can't afford a house! Even rent is thru the sky! My daddy raised me Democrat but I'm now an Independent. Both sides way too extreme imo. Love ya Tracy from Sevier county TN ❤️
Was listening to a prime country station recently and both “Why Didnt I Think of That” and “Different Light” both came on. Amazed I still knew the words and that I had completely forgot of how great he was. Im a 90s kid for reference!
I LOVE this interview! I have loved BG since his first album. I think what I love the most is BG has never turned against who he is as an artist and as a person. I don't have to second guess what he stands for or what he believes. And to be a true artist...what they create has to be an extension of who they are. Which is why he is one of my favorites. Much love. Hope to hear music from BG for many years to come❤
Just wanted to say i was blown away by both y'all's careers and think you're both amazing artists with much respect your both on my bucket list to see in concert
TRACY……….. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST YET !! When Brantley says that SKYNYRD was his top on Mt. Rushmore, I broke down in TEARS !! I’m 55 and there always my go to since I was 17 !!
I am surprised John Anderson wasn't one of Tracy 's Mt. Rushmore musicians. I think Tracy really looked up to him in his early days. Both amazing voices.
I just really appreciate and respect everything about Brantley Gilbert. Still remember the day I heard "Bullet in a Bonfire" the first time. Thanks for staying you! 1:30:57
I came across Brantley’s first album Modern Day Prodigal Son when I was 15 in 2007. I listened to it non stop. Half of the songs on that album were the reason I wanted to learn how to play guitar 💯
I always appreciate to get to listen to Brantley conversate fr I can't name a song I didn't like or didn't resonate with me from him always good shit and soon enough Mark my words ima be out very soon the dream just keeps biting and I keep pushin it back but I'm about to jump and see the response
🔥Hawk me tl, you really putting together some killer road house podcast.. keep pushing man.. I really dig bg and his tunes so this one was top notch 🔥👊🔥🏍🔨⚙️🚜⚠️
❤”it’s not color it’s culture “… makes sense bc I don’t know , Mr Tracy Lawrence don’t know, but Denzel knew what a hot comb on Sunday morning smelled like . I do know & remember getting beat with a brush & snatched by hair to tilt my head in right direction while my hair was being done for Sunday school 😂❤
Haha I remember that Christian band and I specifically remember a night over at my friends house you and your buddy from that band came over and we watched a movie in her movie theater 😂 is surreal looking back. Now I’m with one of your buddies you grew up with 😂 such a small world man.
People becoming more robotic! What happens to doing what your heart desires! Heck, what happened to freedom of speech! Where’s the love? Exactly Awareness! Our backs are too the wall! The gloves come off after a certain point’ I love my small town ❤
One of best so far and not because it’s Brantley Gilbert it’s because the discussion between two down to earth real men 🤘🏼 there beliefs are in line with mine 🇺🇸
Still hoping for BG to do a tour, an evening with BG or some shit, in which he plays 3 hours, all his stuff. 40 minute set on bike playing songs like Outlaw in Me, Bad Boy, etc. Then end on an hour of bangers!
Love You Tracy Lawrence and I Love Brantley Gilbert ❤❤❤❤ Y'all are so Right ❤❤❤❤

Brantley, can't do that. Will not let him.
Church probably wouldn't do it because he is on a label
Do it !!

I'd love to see an episode with the legend Doug Stone he's been off the radar for awhile and I'd love to hear you guys compare stories and more!

I haven't seen Brantley Gilbert yet, but Tracy Lawrence, I've seen him 10x! Never disappointed at any show!
Brantley is how I got into County Music years ago, my all time favorite country artist
my wife is excited for this podcast and the series she loves Tracy and is country
Tracy is my favorite country singer but id love too see how wild and what he would have put out if record labels didnt dictate his artistry.
No matter your favorite genre, brantley is speaking to the masses
I’m only five minutes into this, but if I don’t hear up churches name brought up I’m gonna be a little pissed 😂 creek squad 🤘🏻
Why? He was literally on the episode before this one smh

Way more exciting interview with Upchurch.
I would love to hear Brantley Gilbert's "Your American." I think that's the name of it. The song he said his lable told him no to.
I too grew up in a small town where we had a pocket knife in school and locked our gun up in our locker during hunting season.
Still hoping for BG to do a tour, an evening with BG or some shit, in which he plays 3 hours, all his stuff. 40 minute set on bike playing songs like Outlaw in Me, Bad Boy, etc. Then end on an hour of bangers!
