I'm going to say ot before anyone else: Aemilianus with William Wallace will be the new rally meta. Wallace is increasing the dmg of Aemilianus by 40%!! That's 1080 dmg increase for Aemilianus!!!! So Aemi will hit the target with 3780 dmg factor and then make the target take increased dmg factor and William will deal 2400 + 480 because of the 20% smg increase, also don't forget that technically William is hitting him with 2700 as well because of the 300 aoe and in a rally situation you will be attacked, so basically he deals a total of 3240 dmg!! Imagine a Rally combination dealing 3780 and then 3240 dmg factor. Oh and it's smite smg btw, because most of the commanders only reduce skill dmg. And after all this, they are even tanky. I have no words left lol. It's truly infantry season and I'm lovin' it

He also makes certain anti-swarm garrisons suddenly swarmable with the silence (eleanor for example), that's going to be a huge factor in the prevalence of infantry rallies.
Amanitore has also a silence inmunity, but she's more like a anti-skill damage oriented commander, as his 4th skill requires skill damage to trigger, so I don't thik she's gonna be worth to use against Aemilianus. We will have to wait for a new archers garrison commander to see if someone can stop him, because right now I don't think any combo would stop him.
Btw chisgle the 4th skill for wallace is only work when you attack troops that is already on the map so its not for rally but works when wallace is garrison
New Scipio / Liu Is going to be so broken. It’s synergy is so good! Scipio has a chance to proc a debuff if he’s doing a normal attack which helps with liu che.

What would you recommend: invest in another open field pair, invest in a garrison commander like or invest in a rally commander. What can I do better and what are my options here? Arte if you recall, has normal damage reduction and buffs the enemy skill damage not smite. And this new commander is highly vunerable to skill damage as it has nothing to reduce it.

New Scipio with Harald, dispel all Harald defend reduce but only increase Harald atk up to 75%. 75% atk also increase both smite dmg of New Scipio and Skill dmg of Harald, plus Counter atk make the pair too much to swarm

Gorgo is Garrison Captain and her main bonus is her reduced rage cycle which is lost when you make Scipio primary print. Lastly, Tariq uses skill damage instead of smite. Maybe Scipio Jr. had to be nerfed.
@john2g1 yea won't work against the garrison however it will work as a counter rally, so there needs to be some scenario based tests for this. I suspect different commander pairings will be used as the "meta" depending on scenarios. And will vary greatly depending on the kvk mode

Eleanor hera will destroy this rally. It has 0 skill DMg reduction and hera reduces normal attacks by a lot. Just don't take skill DMg reduction talents on the garrison tree

Scipio A + Pakal, good combo. pakal rally damage 5%, attack 40%, health 30%, expertise 5% damage reduce (anti swarm) + Greece +5% rally damage. Scipio give 30% health, Smite damage, buff and debuff.
Use Harald instead then you get an extra 115% attack
