I appreciate Doug adding in the coloured subtitles for newer viewers because they also help with my auditory processing difficulties in a way that makes the funny moments more understandable!
there's something about the subtitles for the "woooom" that just gets me every time, it's so good and for Doug's question, my favorite right now is a dwarf planet called Eris that's 6,289,000,000 miles away from our sun but still orbits it every 557 years
QOTD: Venus. Not only because it's gorgeous and the hottest planet despite not being the closest to the Sun, but also because we could theoretically live "on top" of it. There is a section of Venus' atmosphere that would be a lot more capable of withholding and supporting human life, rather than trying to live on the surface which would just end up in us cooking to death or suffocating almost immediately. My favourite planet outside of our solar system though, would be HD 189733b (also known as the Rains of Terror), which has winds blowing up to seven times the speed of sound and supposedly rains glass. So not only on this planet would you be subjected to being sent in a never ending spiral across the world, but you would also be ripped to shreds by literal glass rain c: very cool.
I'm letting this play to end the night after pulling a 42 hour session of doing my college school work constantly. Thanks for being the comfort during a rough week Max :)
My favorite planet is Pluto. It has been since I found out of it's existence. Then when I was in 3rd grade someone got jealous and decided it was not a planet. That is my story and I am sticking to it.
yooooooo Opo killed it with that thumbnail, holy- For Doug's QOTD: my favorite planet is probably Poltergeist, one of the first Exoplanets humanity ever discovered, but also because it has a ghost name and that's neat :3c
Max: **Narrowly avoids mine** "Oh sh!t-!" Xeen: "What-?" **Steps on mine and backs off** **Silent acceptance of death before explosion** 😂 Made my night! Just the quiet acceptance- then immediate laughter when spectating

@@RadiantAetherthe red spot itself is one massive storm, and I believe that was first spotted in 1684 (depending on the sources I found, it varies). So you're right; it has been storming for "over 40 years." Other interesting facts: 1.3 Earths can fit inside of the red spot alone. But if we really want to talk about sizes, 10 Jupiters can fit along the Sun's diameter. The sun however pales in comparison to Betelgeuse (just a recognizable, massive star), which in turn, pales in comparison to Sagittarius A (aka the black hole at the center of the galaxy). By "pales in comparison" I literally mean they are dwarfed by their respective object of comparison. Kinda like how Mercury is dwarfed by the Sun when we directly observe them along the same line of sight. Yay! Astronomy rules!
i know its been commented on a lot, but its still so unreal how happy i am watching this channel grow. lots of us grew up watching you and just seeing this happen in real time just feels amazing. we appreciate you so much max! Also for doug’s question my favorite planet would have to be Mercury. Its always been my favorite planet since they say Pluto cant be one…but im my heart Pluto will always have a special place.

A Tip for using the Spray Paint. When you go though a door turn around and mark it with two dots if it leads too an exit. One dot if it does not. Helps a ton with exploring.
Doug's QOTD: My first ever special interest as a kid was space itself, but my answer for favorite planet has always been Uranus. It's such a gorgeous planet and the whole "joke" around the mispronunciation of it's name used to frustrate the hell out of me as a kid (it still kind of does, but it's not as severe). It was the first planet to be discovered by telescope back in 1781. All the photos of it and it's rings are beautiful and it really makes me wonder just how a planet can be so beautiful. It's also the only planet in our solar system that wasn't named after a Roman God. Another favorite of mine was always Jupiter for its red spot.
Doug's (belated) Question of the Day! : What is your favorite IRL planet? • TOI 1388b. Unofficially called Wolftopia. Absolutely beautiful, and the story of how it was discovered it pretty awesome. A 17 year old discovered it 3 days into his internship at NASA. It's fucking awesome
Doug’s Question: My favorite planet is Mercury. I really enjoyed doing a project on it in elementary school. We had to design a space station, space suit and rocket that could withstand the weather and atmosphere of the planet. Obviously in elementary school it was more to encourage us to be creative, but I honestly think the project got me into design and interested in aeronautics. Unfortunately I don’t think I still have the project but if I find it I wanna frame it; it really inspired me.

Hey Max! Been watching you since you started playing with you know who on minecraft, and honestly your content has stayed incredibly good and i love it so much. 😋
DQOTD: Uranus. Not because of the name, but because it is the coldest planet despite being closer to the sun than Neptune and because it is nearly 90° on its side
Doug's Question: Mars, while the history of our solar system peaks my interest Mars is close enough we can get there and start digging through the layers to pull the sands of time back
Answer to Doug's question of the day: My favorite planet is Pluto. Yes, I know, it's technically not a planet. But it will always be a planet in my heart. Second favorite is Venus. Because she be firey and deadly. Living up to it's goddess' namesake. Small message for Max. You're doing amazing. Loving the lethal company videos and vods. As well as the GGD content. I watch your content daily. Have for a few years now. And you never fail to make me laugh. Thank you for existing. Truly. You've made so many lives brighter
doug's question: my favorite planet would be Koi 5715.01, it is a superhabitiable planet that has so much potential, and may even have some simple forms of life on it.
I've always been fond of Uranus because it starts with the same letter as my name, which is rare. I love space though and i wish I had more time to learn about it
Doug’s question: Saturn because of multiple reasons 1 the hexagon on Saturn’s North Pole where it’s only made up of clouds yet still keeps shape 2. The sounds that Saturn makes 3. The visuals of the planet and it’s rings
Doug's question: my favourite planet is probably Neptune. I think either Saturn 🪐 or maybe Jupiter would be a close second. Mod question: which mod is it that at the end of each round it tells you how someone died?
Doug’s question: favorite planet would have to be Jupiter. From the natural frequency noises Jupiter makes, to the constant storms and insane auroras. It’s a shame Jupiter has no surface to land on safely
To answer Doug: Venus. The history behind it is great The first time we ever landed a spaceship on Venus, it was prepared for a water landing. They used to believe Venus was covered in water and not the dry storm it actually is I get very passionate about planets
DQOTD: Pluto don’t care what anyone says Pluto is a planet (also every time I think about Pluto I remember that one tumblr post about Pluto and it makes me giggle) Ohana means family and family means that no one is left behind
