  • This video will guide you to make your own spot welder using an old microwave oven's transformer. It is very simple and doesn't need any electronics knowledge. please keep in mind that this is a direct power supply device. So it can affect you potentially. Always follow safety measurements otherwise this device may make permanent damage or losses. Avoid children's presence near your work area before doing this.
The Owen transformer can be obtained from older Owens some new kind Owens comes with smps like boards. I got this from the nearest waste material collection point. And I recommended using 6mm wire. I used a 10mm wire so the output was very huge and not sustained by Nickel roads. So I modified the wire to a 6mm and the output was very great( i did not record that). And always use a timer on the primary side to get the proper weld.

hmm you dit the cable 3 times in the transformer but only 2 times is needed that is the reason for very high current and that cable should be thinker

Yes you are right but actually I made this as a try. But now works fine after some modifications. Please take this video as a theoretical trail.

Bad engineering practice. Use proper tools. Buy a good hammer.

First of all, there is no such word as "cuted", it's cut! 2nd, what the hell is an "iron road". Did you mean "iron rod"? If you would TALK in your video then people might KNOW what you mean. 3rd, do you know what a HAMMER is?? This video is a damn joke. Stop making videos.

Very good effort - don't listen to the negative comments.
My guess is , that when the apocalypse comes , you will be able to make fire , while everyone else is waiting for the shops to exist again (the people that can only buy new stuff).
    Well done.
