Great runs!! Looked like so much fun. I really enjoy watching the old classics - almost more than the new ones. The headlight delete camera is a great angle too!! Thanks Brett
@@turcotte16 We haven't been to Jackson since 2004, but the return of the vintage sleds, we're already making plans to be there next year! Your vid sealed the deal with a couple of the guys! Hope to see you there!
Man love watching the vintage sleds. Great run always been my dream to race at Jackson hole hill climb. Iv been watching videos since 1990 back in those days i was 11 45 now. The sleds just looked so sick from anything i new back then. Live in upstate NY been riding since i was 5 been to Idaho And Montana few times mountain riding. Started out on polaris road Polaris through the 90’s last Polaris was a 2000 800 RMK. Started riding cats in 2003 and then raced cats from 2004-2017. SX and pro XC with many wins and championships. Jackson hole is still on my bucket list being so far away doesn’t make it easy of course. Im not a rich man have my last race sled still my 17 ZR6000r XC 2010 Z1 turbo EXT and 2011 Z1 sno pro making up To 300hp. Now that i know about vintage class im finding something to build just cant afford a new mountain sled for one race a year. Appreciate u making this video gives me new hope that one day i might make it to Jackson hole hill climb. Thank you One question what was ur time on the edge and ur Matrix RMK. How competitive is the edge vs ur RMK.
I dont know much about snowmobiles or snowmobiling but these videos have encouraged me to try it! Especially since we also have a lot of snow here where i live (Finland) for a good 5 months out of the year haha
Awesome vid dude!! Love seeing the vintage sleds, when mods were actually full mods! Congrats on the 4th, coming in behind Luke Rainey nothing to be ashamed of for sure. Slap a turbo on the pro x for next year and you’ll have it!! Keep it up Brett, I enjoy your content!!
Awsome🎉 let's go!! Great vid. My son and I ran to the tv as soon as it came on. He was cheering and pretty cool how u show the dad side of things. Great job! 4th ain't that bad when ur half the power as there sleds lol
That was fantastic, watching it with the adjusted horizon so you can see what you are doing with the sled made the finals awesome to watch. Congrats on 4th, awesome result considering your deficit of CC's and cylinders. (Rubs beard in thought) I seem to remember Polaris had the XLT's that made great power when you got the pipes, reeds and fuel all right, seems to me I used to have two of those built up in the 90's in Alaska, and they ripped. Looking forward to the new Iron dragging your aged, but graceful ass up the mountain when you post it. I hope you can use the same camera with the horizontal stabilization, it shows so much more what you see when you are jumping around like a drunk monkey while ripping up the hill.
So cool seeing those "classic" old mod sleds! I wonder if anyone knows where Mark Thompsons old summit 670 is, the firs stocker to go over the top in 1995 I think? That would be cool to see it run again.
Would love to throw a new setup and a FEW upgrades on my crossfire 800. Thing has 13 thousand miles and still hits 100 faster than my brother's 18 zr 800. The new riot 1100 turbo we got is on another level tho!
My buddy still has Reed Hedlands old sled he won Jackson hole with 1000 psi motor 136 dropped and rolled 9 inches .Back in the day that old girl went up just about everything in eagles pass
What are the fuel requirements? What about a 600XLT bored, balanced and planed with NA Nitromethane heads? I am sure you are going to tell me the rule that disallows this, but refer me or quote the exact rule because I cant find it , nor exactly what class it applies to. I mean, the 440 ruining nitro tunes would be what, NA 3-400 bhp A 600xlt that they have kits for are running 600+ Just don't run it for long without tearing it down and rebuilding it.
Great runs!! Looked like so much fun. I really enjoy watching the old classics - almost more than the new ones. The headlight delete camera is a great angle too!! Thanks Brett
Thanks for watching!
Cheered you on live, and loved the vid!! Thanks Brett, definitely one of our favorite pro's and definitely favorite youtube snowmobile channel!!
Wow, thanks!

These sleds ain't vintage lmao 40's 50's 60's 70's 80's early 90's is pushing it
20 years old or older is the rule..
Trailing arms= vintage.. A-arm=, not vintage..
